Up for auction is a very nice 1979 Corvette Numbers Matching L-82 High Performance 350 V-8 with TH350 Automatic Transmission Corvette Yellow with Black Interior. There were only 2,357 Produced in the Corvette Yellow out of 53,807 and considering it's got black interior there were probably even less produced for sale. This Corvette received a complete restoration in 1995-1997. Comes with GM options report/build sheet, restoration reciepts and years of maintenance thereafter.

The engine has been rebuilt, built, Crane Cam, Remanufactured Transmission and Torque Converter and built with a shift kit. Paint was done back in 1997 and still shows like new.

Comes with receipts from the restoration for engine, transmission, paint, suspension, steering components brake system and alot more. There are also many more reciepts from the time it's been in our possession since approximately 1997. Since 1997 the car has been stored in the garage and driven only in the Oregon summertime. For the most part the car has never seen the rain, it might of got caught once or twice in the rain but always headed straight back for the garage.

Also comes what appears to be GM Options Report/Build Sheet with customers name on it (same customers name that is on the restoration paperwork), Owners Manual, 1979 Sales Brochure. Also comes with Corvette Motor Trend 1979, Road & Track 1979 and Car and Driver 1979 along with receipts you can spend the weekend going through. Also have a Custom fit car cover for it that has been used indoors only.

Exterior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the cars exterior a 9. The paint was redone in 1997 2-stage. While the paint shows like new, the car has received a few rock chips that have been touched up and very unnoticable hairline stress crack in the paint on the top of the rear bumper just above the drivers tailight very, very unnoticable. This car is daily driver status and can be used as a daily driver if preferred. It also has passed Oregon emissions every 2 years since we've owned it 1997.

Interior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the cars interior a 9. With the exception of the drivers side seat bottom bolster needing repair the rest of the interior is immaculate.

Mechanics: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the cars mechanics a 9. While this car starts, runs, drives, brakes, and performs out nicely, it has been known to leak transmission fluid while sitting, in the most recent service I had the transmission serviced and the pan gasket replaced, spark plugs, heater core, lube oil filter PVC, valve cover gaskets and new carpet throughout along with some other miscleanous items. Currently the transmission is not leaking and everything is exceptionally operational.

I want to mention I have a classic car mechanic that does small jobs to concours restorations. The last service performed August 2015 was done by him and he gave this car a clean bill of health. He also told me the engine was built very well and it was the best performing L82 he'd driven in a long time.
