Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I have a great 1975 Pontiac Trans Am with 53k miles. It is in excellent running condition with all parts matching. Pontiac Historical Society documented. Only has been serviced with synthetic. Does not burn oil. MUST SELL, moving out of country. CLEAR title REBUILT transmission Original exhaust manifold PRISTINE interior, NO cracking or tears NEW paint job and decals NEW lightweight aluminum radiator (still have original) NEW headers (DID NOT alter car) Custom H-pipe dual exhaust Custom floor mats NEW windshield with integrated antenna NEW front driver and passenger windows Have original repair manuals Tires like-NEW (have spare) Original complete jack Have OEM horn and power window switch (still in box) On Feb-07-16 at 07:41:34 PST, seller added the following information: numbers matching, runs and drives without any issues, has a 488986 engine block capable of handling up to 700 hp. original texas car, then it went to Arizona then it was sold at Barret Jackson in Nevada where it ended up with me in nc. I had it painted because I wanted to protect it from the humidity in NC. I replaced the front and side windows, install new rally trim ring, stickers and window trim. I installed a aluminum radiator(still have original), I installed new custom fit headers with h pipe and duel flowmasters(still have original exhaust manifolds) I replaced rear leaf springs(still have originals). I just rebuilt entire transmission, including planetary and sun gears, it is capable of handling over 500 hp, it still has 14 months warranty left(unlimited mileage and an additional 36 months can be purchased for $200). Its PHS documented. I just had the ac serviced this past summer, it works aloung with all the other options except the power door locks, but I called the manufacture of the power door lock switch and they sent me a brand new 40 year old switch still in the box! I drove it to iowa, ohio and the beach, its garage kept and insured by hagerty. On Feb-08-16 at 07:17:17 PST, seller added the following information: I added some photos my so took this summer, the paint job was to protect the car and uncover any problems which may have existed, it was not done to win a car show, it drive this car mostly on sunday. I got a 1993 transam, never wrecked with 395 miles, I got over $9000 in it, anyone who hands me $20000 for my 75 t/a I will hand them the titles to both my 93 and my 75...you can see my 93 in the backgroundOn Feb-08-16 at 07:20:36 PST, seller added the following information: correction the 93 has 39500 mile, in excellent condition, the 93 out runs the 75 in the 1/4 but the 75 takes it top end...On Feb-08-16 at 07:21:33 PST, seller added the following information: I added 12 new photosOn Feb-08-16 at 07:29:35 PST, seller added the following information: my name is jeff my # is 919 778-2355On Feb-10-16 at 15:46:17 PST, seller added the following information: I'm lowering the reserve...please be aware this is not a show car its a solid daily driver...I was offered more than the reserve in the summer, every time I drive it someone always has something nice to say about it, thanks for biddingOn Feb-11-16 at 14:29:43 PST, seller added the following information: I have proof of the car's history, I flew to greene iowa and I bought it from coyotey classics, it was advertised as "turn key" I paid for it put the key in it and drove it home over 1100 miles it had ~48000 miles on it then, it drove me home without any problems,,,i dropped the gas tank, pressured washed, wire brushed, cleaned, and applied three stages of rust preventative using the best I could get along with a long 360 degree nozzle to get inside the cowl, rocker arm, etcOn Feb-11-16 at 17:55:23 PST, seller added the following information: i can point out the matching #'s on the engine and transmission and carb, not trying to take anything away from or compete with a 455 but I was told by the best Pontiac engine builder in the entire world that the 400 can be built stronger than the 455 due to the geometry of the crank shaft and that if done correctly would help protect it. Pontiac had a factory defect with this car because the color(sterling silver) faded bad and its only my guess there are fewer silver 75 t/a's left than other colors because of this also there are fewer 75's by far than any of the 76-79 models because there was a strike by the uaw that year. this year model was very close to the 74 except the rear window wrapped around to stop the blind spot. 75 had a bunch of smog junk and safety junk added to it which made it less desirable, but all this stuff was taken off way before my and the original ower actually removed the unleaded flap on the gas tank to burn leaded gas which helped lube th engine, I remember these days good and the gas lines, you hade to wait for hours to get gasOn Feb-12-16 at 10:23:57 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to add that I keep the temp at 160, in the winter I change out the high flow 160 thermostat with regular 160 because the engine will not warm up if I don't, I stated I installed a alumin radiator but I also installed a high flow mildon h2o pump too, the heater gets really hot and I change the coolent 1 time each year. I changed the spark plugs from the ac delco to e3, the plugs looked clean but I lost performance so 6 months later I went back to stock ac delco and the plugs still looked clean, it does not drop fluids on my garage floor, the door gaps are perfect and they open and close perfect. I also replaced the rear shocks and front and back stabilizer bushings, I have about $300 dollars of addition parts and materials including 6 qts of royal purple and 1 k&n oil filter. I still have the original water pump and ralley trim rings, the interior is oxblood, a duel color of dark and lighter red that looks like blood, its hard to find this material, looking at the head liner it looks original, this car was cared for by the previous owners, I got a picture of the garage where he kept this car, it was sitting along side of really expensive cars like porsche in a really nice garage.
