1966 FORD THUNDERBIRD Hardtop with pictures and video NO RESERVE !!! This a "turn key" and "drive anywhere" THUNDERBIRD that is numbers matching. This is truly one of the most reliable vehicles i have ever owned. Starts with ease and never smokes or anything. She glides down the road at 65+ without any issues. Some consider the 1966 BIRD "the last of the real THUNDERBIRDS". ALL gauges work properly; including the unique Thunderbird speedometerSequential tail lights and fender mounted directional signals work perfectly. There is a small header or gasket leak on the pass side. You can hear it in the video if you listen for it but it's nothing that affects the performance. The power window switch in the center console I believe is in need of replacement because the power windows work intermittently. The chrome trim has been completely removed and polished. It has been repainted the factory color with silver metallic pearl to add a little sparkle to the old 60s color. This bird has also been custom fit with new model Shelby wheels that are grey gunmetal in color. The color of the car and the wheels are perfect!!!! I also have the rear wheel skirts that can be added or removed if wanted. This is a unique vehicle that shows style and class all around. Driving around this vehicle is nothing short of awesome!!! Being able to pull into any car show or pretty much anywhere knowing you have a one of a kind classic/antique like this is completely priceless. The interior is all factory from 1966 and the black side strips on the driver and pass seat was added to complete the interior finish. The bird has brand new carpet and looks terrific.
