I have a 1981 Jeep CJ-7 up for auction. The Jeep is a daily driver quality CJ-7 with power steering, tilt wheel and power disc brakes. The Jeep has just been serviced from front to back with all fluids checked and topped off if needed. New oil filter and 10w40 Havoline oil. It has a new set of plugs, new valve cover gasket, new starter, new radiator hoses, new donut gasket and recent carb overhaul. The battery is about a year old. The Jeep runs, drives and stops as it should with no problems. It has a current Virginia State Inspection good until July 2016. Everything works on the Jeep. The lock-out hubs and transfer case are smooth. 4-wheel drive is smooth with no problems. It has a good set of B.F.Goodrich all terrain T/A's on it. Previous owner had the Jeep painted with some new panels welded in the floor pans and wheel tubs several years ago. The wheel tubs were correct Jeep replacement parts, but the front floor pans are not original Jeep parts. They are metal that was bent and welded in. Frame has minor rust at rear (see pics). It does have a couple of places that some body filler was used that has cracked (see pics). It has a really good soft top and doors and a bikini top that also comes with it. All seat belts are in the Jeep, front and back. This Jeep starts the 1st time everytime. It does not leak, rattle, but will smoke a little blue smoke when you first start it if it sits for several days without driving. The odometer shows 59,161 miles, but I feel sure it has rolled over, so its probably 159,161. Anyway, it runs good and is just a good, dependable, cheap Jeep compared to what some others are selling for on ebay. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email, as I check it daily. Please read the ad and look at the pics. I have described it as best as I can. Yes it has had rust repair and will need some more in the future if you want to restore the Jeep, but its a running, driving Jeep as is. Turn the key and go, 4 wheel drive works great, clutch is strong, heater fan works, gauges work. Good Va. inspection. It could use a new tailpipe, other than that I know nothing it needs except driving. CLEAR VIRGINIA TITLE
