1953 Buick Special. Millage unknown. Inline 8 263 CID, runs good. Dynaflow (automatic) transmission works well. Car is basically stock except the paint and the rear springs. New rear springs. Car runs and drives. But NEEDS TIRES, to be road worthy! One of the rear tires has a large bubble in the side wall. The tires that are on it are bias ply. Car is NOT equipped with PS, or PB. Car is still 6 volt. I am not a body guy but I believe the body is solid, floors could use some work and trunk floor needs work. I have had this car for 5+ years. I bought it with no trans. Located a trans, cleaned and re built the trans and drove the car. It has sat for the past year because I started to rebuild the front susp. and then got a different Buick and this one sat. The car is back together now. Before I took it apart I drove it everywhere. I lived in Milwaukee and drove it down to central IL many times, the trip was 4 and a half hours one way. Car has natural/real patina. I got this car after it had set in a barn for many years, in the right light you can see the flake in the roof still. I was told the car was painted in the 80's.
