Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my Ford Econoline conversion van.302 5.0 v8, 4 speed automatic trans, ford 9 inch. This has been my daily driver for 2 years.Has started every day , never left me broke down. The van has 91,000 original miles. It has only seen two winters. I purchased the van from a family that only used it to travel on summer trips to there cottage. This van has only seen two NY winters. I bought the van with 50,000 on the dash. I travel between Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo for work. So the van has seen its fair share of thruway driving. The good. 90,100 original miles (amazing for a 83) Inspection was done a couple months ago Extremely clean Body and under carriage No rot, has a quarter sized surface rust spot on the whole van. Has a bench seat in the rear that folds out to a bed. Swivel buckets. Daily runner New tires New plugs New cap New Rotor New belts CD player A/C works Heat works Cruise control works Has overdrive I have taken thru Delta sonic car wash every two weeks in the winter, in a effort to keep salt of the van.I purchased a unlimited car wash pass. Has been a very dependable van for me and my family. Here is what I replaced when I bought the van,all hoses and clamps, thermostat, all belts, Plugs ,cap, rotor, wires, half the exhaust system, new brakes front and back.Included Rotors and drums.New calipers, Rebuilt carburetor( with life time guaranty). K and N air filter, Changed rear end fluid, trans fluid and filter, oil change. Replaced power steering fluid, Master cylinder. Fuel line.Flushed cooling system,Fuel pump.U joints. I installed mechanical temperature gauge as I wanted to see what the actual temperature the engine was operating at.I do not like gauges that read (hot and cold) I also added a small tachometer mounted to the column. The bad Front brakes just started pulsating , so turn rotors or replace rotors and new pads. Has a small exhaust leak. Some sags in the headliner , the original owner used tacs, they are not really noticeable. The interior does have some stains here and there and shows signs of age. But is fairly clean.I saw three small tears in the interior. But the seats are solid with no rips. Has the ford 9 inch rear end so any who has had a 9 inch knows they are tough but make a little bit of noise.Probably time to flush trans again and the rear end fluid. as I have put 50,000 miles on this van in the past 2 years. Stabilizer link makes a little bit of noise on tight turns.I cant think of anything else the van needs. If I do not sell it, will simply make these small repairs and drive it another 50,000 miles. This van is sold as is. I reserve the rite to cancel auction as I am selling the vehicle locally. Good luck and happy bidding . On Jan-11-16 at 12:21:24 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention has a small dent maybe 2 inches long and 1/2 inch deep rite next to the head light. Drivers side. On Jan-16-16 at 09:59:09 PST, seller added the following information: Just a reminder that the older conversion vans do not have the extended top so they will fit thru a real car wash, easier to keep salt off the under body of the vehicle. You will not believe how solid and clean this classic van is underneath! Was only driven thru two upstate winters! All the lines frame floor boards are extremely solid. The van has 91,000 original miles. I have been very good about changing the fluids, oil pressure is always high on the gauge. I would not hesitate to drive this van anywhere.I still have the owners manual and service tickets from the eighty's that came from the original owner.
