Due to a change in priorities, I am selling my 2004 645Ci Convertible. The car is in very nice condition. I am the second owner. It has always been serviced at BMW dealerships. It has 85,000 miles, premium package, premium sound w/CD changer, NAV with 2015 disc, Cold weather package (heating steering wheel is wonderful). I have 2 keys, original books, original sticker ($79,500.) Interior and exterior in excellent condition. Car looks new. NADA is $16,850. About a month and a half ago, the top refused to go down, I had it diagnosed at BMW and it needs a new rear window motor (which has a sensor). I did not fix because the next time I went to put the top down, it was fine. This morning, though, it is refusing to go down. They quoted just under $1500 and told me if I went to an independant it would probably be half of that. It is part # 67616922652. It is available from several onlone suppliers for around $400 new or used from several suppliers (including Ebay) for $110-$150. Figure 5 hrs labor at a shop or dealer. When I priced this car, I figured the potential top issue into the price.
