Sorry for the delay in listing! EBay changed their listing structure and my computers hate me....can only use one for the job. MY LOSS YOUR GAIN!This is my best friend's car that I sold him 3 years ago this month. It had 136k on the clock then. I have lost count, but this would be about the 6th Volvo or so that he has acquired from me over the last 15 years. Why is he selling?? He has 3 driver's in the family and 4 cars. One has to go. This got the chopping block. NO RESERVE! Sorry also for the dim pics. I can't catch a break with the weather as of late. Feels like I'm in Seattle or Alaska with the rainy gloom (no disrespect to my WA and AK buyers!!). Sad because the front bumper of this car is perfect. Not even a bug mark! If you noticed the accident listed in the free Autocheck pic I provided, it was a parking lot BIFF. Someone clipped the corner of the bumper cover. It was repainted by a professional company and matches properly. This isn't the regular silver color, it's the pearl version that Volvo offered. Not only is the bumper perfect, you also have a small batch of extra paint!! Use this to touchup the handful of hood rockchips!! Keep it just in case.... ALL the exterior illumination works perfectly. You noticed the one of a kind C70 17" rims that never came on an S70?? Provided by your truly...Tires are matching front Goodyears and matching rear Nexxus. ALL sport at least 50+% treadlife left and ride on undamaged/vibration free rims at every corner. Perfect upgrade for this car to make you stand out from the rest.Hood has minimal typical rockchips. Again, use the touchup paint to cure. Glass looks great. Roof is awesome. Lenses are stellar. I have ALWAYS loved the 1998 versions: the old reliable 850 drivetrain BEFORE FORD got ahold of Volvo...AND the NEW S70 appearance! WIN WIN! My favorite year bar none. These are the 2 main dings on the WHOLE car save for one other pointed out below. Easily dentbusted if desired. Note the car displays ZERO noticable rust. ALL The paint matches and NO signs of any major bodywork or repairs. Rear bumper cover looks great save for a bit of uneven spray pattern and a few chips. No damages or cracks. Yes...you didn't notice it but I point it out ONLY because my camera caught it. You eye barely will. Above you can see the ONE ding on the passenger rear door. Inch and a half long. Again, no visible rust. Car is beautiful. Better in person than any pic I can post. LOOK at how clean the engine compartment is!! Pick a spot and eat off it! No major oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor overnight. Engine fires right up with the strong battery. It's smooth and noise free. Turbo is strong. Transmission shifts as it should. No overheating. No noises. No problems. Brakes are perfect. No pulsing or grinding. Suspension is tight. No noises or popping. Drives straight over any pavement with no unusual pulling or wandering. How do I know?? Because I helped install ALL of it in my shop over the years! Also to be noted, the timing belt. UPGRADED and replaced to the NEWER 331 belt and spring tensioner (removed was the mechanical version) at about 141k. Water pump is fine with no leaks. As you can see....ALL the dummy lights illuminate with only the ABS/TRAC light and Check Engine light staying on during run. Lets address these: the ABS/TRAC light is part of one unit. I have repaired the ABS unit before. But the lights came back on. THEN, the unit was recent;y sent off for profession repair. This STILL did not clear the lights (they should shut off if problem is gone). The ONLY thing left the replace is one or all the wheel sensors. Realistically it's one sensor. I don't have a reader to confirm which one. CHECK ENGINE light....this is AT LEAST from having no Cat-Converter. Also shows the usual "evap leak" code. Now....we installed the O2 sensor spacer and it rarely throws an O2 code, but the car will NOT pass emissions/visual inspection altho it will pass ILLINOIS emissions if we clear the codes and run thru the checks (IL just checks visual CHECK light and runs codes). Even tho it has a custome exhaust, you can easily add a 3" cat-converter to adhere to specific emissions standards. ALL the power items seem to work as they should: Cruise, power windows, power locks, power sunroof, dual climate control, AM/FM/CD player, transmission modes, BOTH heated power front seats, heated power mirrors, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, HOT HEAT, info panel, etc!! Factory floor mats are included with only a bit of driver's heal wear. Spare setup is complete and actually looks like it's NEVER been used! Still has the tire nipples on it! Above you can see even the cupholder is intact! Passenger seat bolster also has minimal wear. Below you can see the full compliment of factory manuals included along with ONE factory key and 2 keyfobs. One working the other slightly less whole needing a battery (the case is shoddy). 1998 was the last year of the regular key. 1999 started the transponder. No fancy programming needed. Note the little booklet. This is a diary of maintenance on the car since 2013/136k miles! Every oil change, etc. Also note the spare RED fuel pump relay. These fail pretty easily and having a replacement means you can drive home if it dies on you. Don't leave home without it! Aside the mods that disqualify it from emissions, this car is ready to go!!
