I bought this car from a friend of mine about 5 years ago and I have loved driving it ever since. It truly is a car for those who love to drive and it performs like no other car I’ve ever driven before. Sadly for me, I got kicked out of the garage by my wife who bought a new car and would love to see it go to someone who truly appreciates this machine. It is a combination of gray exterior with burgundy leather interior. I have only one key. It has held up well over of the years and at about 128,400 miles and 12 years old, it still has a lot to give. I’ve always taken it to either BMW or a local BMW expert mechanic who has kept it in great shape whenever an issue would arise. Here is a list of the services performed to date: 11.16.15 Replaced Drive Belt Tensioner 11.16.15 Replaced Both Control Arm Bushings 11.16.15 Two New Rear Snow Tires (Dunlop 255/40/18) 05.19.15 Replaced SMG Hydraulic Control Unit (so you no longer have to worry about this) 05.19.15 Replaced Rear Axle Pinion Seal 04.27.15 Replaced front and rear brake pads and sensors 04.27.15 Replaced Oil Relief Valve 03.15.15 Dealer performed Takata Airbag recall and DME programming 01.06.15 New Battery 09.12.12 Replaced alternator 05.01.12 Replaced Ignition Coils, Valve Cover gaskets, Spark Plugs and Single Timing Chain 05.01.12 Replaced Windshield Wiper Pump Known Issues:These are the issues that I am aware of with the car – There is an issue with the finish of the paint on the upper part of the drivers side from the front to the back. It looks like the clear coat has faded.The glove box lock is brokenThe light for the airbag is on (the previous owner attributed this to the sensor under the passenger seatThere is some unstitching in a few spots on the seats (see photo) Aside from these known issues, everything works fine and the car is very powerful and blows away most of the competition.
