1959 Simplex Sportsman. Rare rear foot peg model. Runs well. Bike is not perfect, but is probably one of the nicest examples of this model anywhere. I believe the fenders to be original chrome. The wheels have been rechromed in the past. Head and tail lights work. Needs a brake light switch, which I have been unable to acquire. Bike was ridden a limited amount at this years Vintage Motorbike of America club meet in Portland, Indiana. The reason for this is the correct tires are not available. Unlike the vast majority of Servi-Cycles, the Sportsman used an oddball rim, which is 20.5". I currently have Coker 2.5 x 21" reproduction ribbed tires on it, which mount up but are slightly large for the rim. I feel ok riding it around the fairgrounds, but I would not ride it fast. There is NO TITLE, but I will provide a bill of sale. This bike will make a great addition to any Servi-Cycle collection! Please ask any questions before bidding.
