2002 Audi A6, with the 4.2 V8 (widebody car), and 6 speed manual transmission swap completed. Recently installed lower mileage engine. Car runs and drives like new. All swap issues have been sorted out, ECU flashing, cruise control works, etc.Chassis mileage: 184,800Engine mileage: 120,000Drivetrain mileage: 130,000Engine/exhaust:New (120k miles) engine installed recently due to noise in valvetrain of previous engine.SAI deleteCats deleted (open exhaust all the way to the mufflers)Billet oil cooler coolant pipe (Bufkin pipe) installed 15k miles ago (this is becoming necessary on all older 4.2's, if you are buying one without it, plan on doing this, as the stock plastic one will crack and leak coolant -- fairly labor intensive fix)Suspension:18x8.5 VMR wheels, with only 3,000 miles on tires ($1600)H&R lowering springs ($250)Moog adjustable upper control arms (installed 6,000 miles ago) ($300)Drivetrain:6 speed swap -- purchased 02 A6 2.7T 6 speed donor car, and swapped in the transmission, front axles, driveshaft, rear differential, pedal assembly ($2500)New B7 RS4 clutch/pressure plate ($600)Flywheel machined ($100)New slave cylinder ($60)Electronics/Interior:Coding performed on the ECM, ABS, and TCM to make the 6 speed work. S6 calibration installed, ABS coded, etcPioneer touchscreen DVD player ($300)HID Bixenon headlightsRear Parking sensorsPower electric steering column adjustmentsInterior in great shape, and has the sport seats which have awesome bolstering.
