For sale is a 2003 Ford E350 V10 News Van. Originally built out by ENG Mobile Systems Inc., im sure this van was over $100k new. Now it has been retired from FOX 5 in Las Vegas, and I purchased it from the person who sold them the new ones and took this in on trade. Ive owned it for about a year but its mostly just sat without the time needed for this project, so on to the next person! 175k miles, runs good. I just had all the spark plugs changed and 2 coil packs that were dead. Great condition tires, good brakes. AC and heat works. Some body damage at the front door/fender area and random scrapes/dents from 10 years of TV news. The wrap has been removed but some ghosting and adhesive remains. Check engine light comes on occasionally, I think another coil or 2 are going bad or plug wires are loose... engine feels like it will run on only 8 or 9 of 10 cylinders sometimes but is random and inrequent - havent had the motivation to take it back into the shop for a vehicle Im not using. 30+ foot air operated mast built in, works great. Air Compressor built into the back to operate mast unit. Some sort of safety system built in for the mast but weve found how to bypass that and raise/lower anytime. Onan 6500 Watt(I think, see picture) built in Genset, just professionally serviced by an Onan dealer. Electric start, remote panel inside. Variety of roof and side scene lights, interior and exterior power ports, 2 12v deep cycle battery bank built in along with shore power 12v charger. Roof mounted large AC and heat unit that works well. Interior is carpeted and has desk area where 2 people could work along with rack mounting area for equipment. Rear has more area for storage. Tons of potential here - two way radio/HAM radio command center or field day rig, an exploring or photography/tech vehicle, camping van, burning man or parade float rig base, who knows! Seems like the generator itself sells for about my starting bid so you are getting a deal here. Sold as is where is from San Luis Obispo, CA. Please inspect pictures and ask any questions if you have them. When I purchased it I flew to LA and drove it home 250 miles, and have put about 500 miles on since then.
