1982 Corvette Collector Edition, 44,493 original miles, number's matching, excellent condition, VIN #1G1AY0781C5107292. Car starts right up, drives straight and stops straight. I have had the car for just under a year, previous owner didn't have the car on the road for about 3years but during that time replaced numerous parts. Interior is in excellent condition and has almost been completely redone. All of the expensive interior parts have been replaced, Seat covers, door panels, dash pad and carpet. Since this is a collector edition the prices are of course higher. Suspension and brakes has been redone, everywhere you look at the suspension there are new parts. New brake lines, ceramic brake pads. Crossfire injection system works perfect, idles smooth and no hesitation when pressing the gas pedal. Previous owner had the crossfire injection system rebuilt. Again everywhere you look in the engine compartment there are new parts. A/C has new compressor, hoses and has been converted. A/C was serviced this summer with freon charge and blows cold air. Brake booster, master cylinder, air pump all recently replaced. Car had a Virginia State inspection done Mar 2015, car passed first time with no problems. New interstate battery Nov 2015. Car has the original Collector Edition Wheels and Bronze Glass T-Tops. Everything works on the car. Car does have some minor chips and scrapes but just normal wear and tear, there is a small crack in front fender on the passenger side. Car did have a re-paint a number of years ago in the original silver biege but still shows very well. When they repainted, they painted on the hood and door strips instead of the decals. The painted stripes do not have the correct fade from light to dark as the original. Not in a rush to sell but planning a move next year and want to start downsizing. Car is located in Virginia Beach and is always garaged. Also included is 2 sets of assembly manuals, original owner's manual, original window sticker and diagnostic equipment.
