NO RESERVE!!!!I am the third owner of a Real Deal very rare 1967 SS396 4 speed Convertible Chevelle. This car has been literally 10 minutes from my house for the last 25 years sitting dormant waiting to be restored. I found this car covered up in the backyard of the second owners house where it has been sitting unmoved since 1991. This car needs a COMPLETE RESTORATION!! Not for the faint of heart it is a project! But this project is worthy of being taken on. I am selling this car one time, setting a starting price and letting it go, I want to see it restored! Drivetrain: The numbers matching 396 has been long gone since before the second owner bought the car in 1974. In its place is a non running 1973 400 sbc. There is a 4 speed transmission in the car and the 12 bolt rear end is still under it...I am not sure of the gear or if its posi. *****ALSO NOTE, I HAVE PURCHASED A 1967 CODED 396 THAT IS FOR A CHEVELLE THAT LIKE THE CAR NEEDS TO BE REBUILT...IT IS A LONG BLOCK! The 396 I have purchased is included in the auction! Body: ROUGH!!! Rust and Bondo present in a lot of places, Again it needs a complete restoration!!!Interior: Supposed to be blue, died black a long time ago...incorrect console. Buckets are here, top frame is here. Like the whole car, needs restorationFrame still seems to be very solid!!
