Offering for sale my prized 09 MX-5 to fund other projects. This car is truly one of a kind, an incredible driving experience. Very Rare Special edition in Mazda's Competition Yellow. The car looks great inside and out. The yellow really turns heads. We get folks asking all the time what kind of a car it is, lots of suprised faces when they find out its a Mazda. This is not your ordinary MX-5, It has a handful of tasteful upgrades to improve handling, performance, stopping ability. The interior is loaded Grand Touring Trim. Bose sound system, bluetooth, keyless entry, keyless start, smart key, cruise, power windows and mirrors, Black leather bucket seats, special edition floor mats The suspension, has been upgraded to OHLINS adjustable coil overs with street friendly / track day ready springs. Depending on the shock settings this car can be as comfortable as a stock miata, or as firm as a race car. The car does have the power retractable hardtop sway bars for a slight reduction in corner roll. It has cross drilled and vented rotors front and rear, front rotors and pads are new with less than 50 miles on them. Wheels are Enkei RPF-01's Black, with yokohama advan sticky tires, some of the wheels have light curb rash, but are not bent. Under the hood the stock 2.0L MZR 4Cyl is fed by a Mazdaspeed MX-5 Cup air intake. It has a Mazdaspeed MX-5 Cup Ron Davis Radiator, Mazdaspeed chin spoiler with additional ducting to radiator. Car will run 195 degrees in the middle of august no matter how its being run. Exhaust is mostly stock with a Roadstersport dual exit muffler. It produces a warm mellow tone, free of drone at highway speeds that gives way to a moderate rumble at wide open throttle. 6-speed manual transmission has been serviced regularly and is in great condition. Shifts are butter smooth, clutch is not showing signs of excessive wear and is not in need of replacement anytime soon. It has a 4.10 Torsen limited slip differential. Differential is not worn, inside tire hooks well on corner exits. The car is a salvage title, it was involved in a front end accident that knocked out both front headlights. Most MX-5's will total if both headlights are broken as they were scarce and EXTREMELY expensive new from Mazda. It does have HID / Xenon headlamps that provide excellent visibility. It does have an OEM Mazda one piece removable hardtop that is painted to match. It is an excellent fit, no wind noise, insulates, protects and makes the car look fantastic. Soft top currently not installed. Everything in the car works, zero known issues. The car as a whole is in great used shape. It has some touched up chips, a few paint cracks on front lip, and minor scratches, interior shows normal but very light use. Car will not disappoint. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
