Up for auction is a two owner well documented Toyota RAV4 with only 81,000 miles. This vehicle was used exclusively for commuting to and from work which is approximately an hour each direction, nearly all the miles are freeway miles. This car was purchased new at a Toyota dealership and was service there until my fiancé bought it four years ago. Every service and oil change was done at the dealership as well as new brakes, rotors, and tires within the last 12 months. Toyota no longer makes the RAV4 with the six-cylinder engine so all of the RAV4’s are stuck with the woefully underpowered four-cylinder engine versus the 3.5 L V-6 which this model has. Aside from a good detail, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle and I would have no objections to a prepurchase inspection at the buyers expense. I noted in the auction that there some minor paint damage on the rear passenger side quarter panel, anyone using the buy it now option will have that panel repaired at a dealership free of charge before pick up. I recently purchased a vehicle in Texas and had it shipped to Ohio for a fee of $525. That should give you some indication of transportation costs. I am aware of the wholesale value of the vehicle and what dealership will pay (like Carmax) for walking in the door and handing them the title, ridiculous offers will not be responded to because if it’s below wholesale I can just take it to the dealership with no hassles. I’m making one attempt to sell this vehicle on eBay before I wholesale it to a dealership. Do not wait until this auction ends to make an offer; we have already replaced this vehicle with her new one so this has to go. Within 48 hours of the end of this auction it will be sold one where the other. Do a little homework online and find out what it’s worth and then factor in shipping if you’re interested in making an offer. There are several dealers selling identical year make and miles RAV4's with the same options on eBay however none of them can boast that they were purchased at their dealership and serviced at their dealership. Not withstanding that, I am selling this car $4000 less than the closest listed vehicle. Aside from the driver side floor mat being dirty and the headliner needing a steam clean, this car does not have a single tear, scratch, dent other than what's been disclosed. What you're buying is complete peace of mind from a very well taking care of vehicle which is priced substantially less than fair retail market. I'm only asking a few hundred dollars more than the NADA trade-in value which I unconditionally know I can get by walking in a Toyota dealership.
