Vehicle Detail
Sad to be selling my 2006 Chevrolet 1500 heavy half ton. Bought this truck from a GM dealership in early 2009 with 25,000 miles on it, I am the second owner and the first was a lease. LT3 package, fully loaded with leather seats, Bose sound system, 6 disk changer, dual climate control, on-star, sunroof, and power everything. 5.3L motor, built 4L60 automatic. Meticulously cared for, oil changed every 3,000 miles (always with Lucas oil stabilizer), Automatic transmission serviced religiously @ 40,000 mile intervals. Parts replaced like clockwork based on mileage, NOT after they failed. Way too much maintenance to list in this ad, always professionally done. 2" taller than stock with leveling torsion keys up front, and extra leaves in the rear packs + super-springs 3000lb. load leveling / trailer springs. Mono tube shocks on all four corners. Tires are very new (95% tread life) 285/70/17 load range D Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on 17 X 8 Black Rock steel wheels. I built this truck to be have a higher capacity for work than a standard half ton. It has a practical list of upgrades.- 14 bolt semi floating 9.5 inch rear axle, HD towing brakes, brand new bearings / races / automatic locking G80 diff- 4.10 gearing- Trans-go HD 4L60 towing transmission shift kit- Transmission cooler & thermostat from a K4500 series truck-Cadillac gauge cluster w/ transmission temp gauge - Computer reprogrammed and tuned by Black Bear Performance, GM truck specialists, San Diego CA. Huge improvement in fuel economy and power. Calibrated for tire size and gearing.-AEM dry flow cold air intake- Full long tube headers, dual 3 inch off road collector Y pipe, no cats, 3 inch dynomax exhaust. I still have the old headers and stock y pipe with cats. They will bolt right back in if you need them for inspections / legality.- Full race plug wires with brand new NGK iridium plugs-Back rack utility rack with cargo lights- Ranch hand front bumper with bull bar and 2 inch receiver. - KC daylighter 100W auxillary lamps- Trailer brake controllerYou will not find a better 8th generation silverado than this truck, it would be near impossible to even find an equal. It is as reliable as the sunrise. Runs and drives awesome, still as strong, straight, and true as the first day I got it. Very potent drivetrain with the built automatic and lower gears. I fully intended on driving this truck to half a million miles, and it is outfitted accordingly. No way around it, I need a larger truck for business. My loss is your gain.
