"R" models are getting more hard to find! NO RESERVE! I have provided you with the reliable car, Carfax, and Autocheck. All you need to do is BID to WIN! This is what I call a "10 Footer"....looks awesome from 10 feet away! This car has been BEYOND halfway across this country under it's 2 owner history. Time for you to take it home and enjoy the rest of it's time on the road. High miles? No problem. Dealer serviced...again and again. Not to mention the service by yours truly. Read on. Yes there are dings and rockchips. Plenty. No there is no visible rust or body repairs or repaints. What would I personally do if I was fortunate to own this car?? Paint the 2 eyesores...the front and rear bumper covers. No major damages, just the paint gave up somewhere along the line added to a few cuts and scrapes...all repairable. No brokens chunks or cracks at least. Then I would grab a local paintless dent repair person...fix the handful of dings on the car. There are plenty but very small. Finally...have a professional detailer wetsand and buff the entire car to finalize the beautiful shine! Look at how great it looks now, btw! Touch up the expected nicks and chips on the hood, etc, of course. Above is a shot to point out the attempt to care for the exterior...an area of touchups on the hood. Look hard and you can see the bumper cover nicks on the left. Again...all minor from a close-up standpoint. Invisible from 10 feet away! Shine is insane on this car! Below are recent matching Michelins at every corner that ride on undamaged vibration free rims. Yes, you and I could buy this brand of tire (realistically we wouldn't), but the DEALER pushes this brand...proof of dealer servicing. Plenty of small chips on the hood. Lower right....left front fender has a small dent right above the word "small dent". Below the roof is nice sporting the adjustable ski racks. The main area deserving of wetsanding. No dings here at least. The weirdest clearcoat flake that I have ever seen on a Volvo....ONLY the trim around both rear side glass. NO WHERE ELSE....just these 2 small areas. Need re-clearing of course. Below you can see a little scuff by the tailight and the ugly of the rear bumper cover. Again...no damages...just needs a repaint. Hatch is beautiful. Speaking of wetsanding and touching up...apparently the rear wing doubled as a luggage rack once...or twice. Once you hit the front nicks with some gloss black, a qwik wetsand and buff will bring it back to justlikenew2u!! Passenger rear door has the most hard to see tiny dings...couldn't even display in a picture. The right front fender also has a tiny ding up front by the turn signal, look hard. At least ALL the exterior illumination works properly. The interior is shockingly an 8+ out of 10! Seriously...steering wheel is a bit worn but not worn-thru. Driver's bolster is barely worn with a tiny hole, yet the rest of the leather is super nice. "R" only doorpanels included. I hate smoke and can't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. Carpet is clean. Dash is superb. Buttons are barely worn. No damages to the leather or vinyl to be found other than the bolster. As you can see via the "R" only blue gauge cluster, there are zero dummy lights on during run and all come on during startup. I have logged over 100 miles on this car with no issues. Engine Light was on when I got it, then went off...never to come on since. Stored code was the typical Evap code. Probably the gas cap. ALL the power items works as they should: ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, HOT HEAT(time for a heater core soon-smell a bit after sitting long periods-easy 20min repair-$65 part off ebay), dual climate control, heated power front seating, windows, sunroof, locks, cruise, AM/FM/CD/TAPE player, transmission modes, etc. WeatherTech rear floormat. ALl the factory floormats are included. Unseen is the complete spare setup aired up ready for your roadtrip! Rear seating looks super clean! Sadly...the left rear speaker cover is missing. ANY V70 cover will fit once you find a donor. Note the cupholder is complete and damge free above!! Silly but common to see it damaged. Below the complete set of factory manuals are included. BOTH original keys are here along with one factory working keyless keyfob. Amazingly the factory AWD warning tag is still displayed on the front windshield. Further proof of originality. As you can see, I have been pointing out things you can't see. If you have inspected my excellent feedbacks, you will see that I sell tons of Volvos. It would make me sad not to find this beauty a good home. I would keep it myself but don't have the room to park...yet another...Euro car!! MY LOSS YOUR GAIN! This is a genuine "R" model. Volvo dealer servicing reeks all over this car. The recent Volvo battery. Recent Michelin tires. CARFAX full of Howard Orloff Volvo tags. Recent brakes will stop the car in a hurry. No pulsing. No grinding. Bilstein Struts look very recent up front. Suspension is tight and noise free. No rattles, squeaking or popping. Car drives straight and smooth over any pavements with no unusual pulling or wandering. I just installed new spark plugs after pulling out VOLVO issued worn plugs. K&N air filter was cleaned and oiled by yours truly. MAF sensor was properly cleaned and OIL/FILTER changed by me as well. There was a bit of oil buildup underneath and I found the oil to be thin as if from the Qwikie Oil change parlor...ie...5w-30. This will cause the seals to leak on a high mile car even tho they aren't bad. I also only saw an oil spot the size of a quarter on my shop floor overnight. I add Lucas Oil Stabilizer and cleaned the underside of the car. Nice and dry now and I suspect it will stay this way after some driving time as I have performed this many a time on the high milers. No worries. I have also replaced the main lower, upper front AND rear (firewall) motor mounts with new. Timing belt tag shows recent replacement. I have inspected it as well and it looks less than 20k old. Next one due will be at the 300k mark!! Coolant is clean. No overheating. Transmission shifts as it should thru all gears. Engine fires right up with the Volvo battery and runs perfectly. Turbo pulls strongly. The ONLY other maintenance thing I would address at this time is to change the fuel filter as the car seems a bit sluggish under heavy acceleration. Easy to do, again a 20 min job. Finally, the rear AWD driveshaft has been removed. Not by me. It was typical for these cars to "flutter" over time with the front differential leaking, etc. Removing the shaft was a qwik fix. I don't have the shaft but if it were my car, I would remove ALL of the AWD differentials, etc for a FWD powerhouse! You can also sell these items for a return on investment. In my opinion, Volvo didn't really make a great AWD system. FWD works just fine on these cars! This car is 99% ready to go in the mechanical department!
