Vehicle Detail
1991 M30 Convertible *****LOW RESERVE****** PROS: 100% Florida car with no frame or undercarriage rust, looks basically new underneath Body is in very good condition and has straight lines, trunk, hood and doors all line up perfectly and vehicle drives straight as an arrow, no known accidents as I do not have full disclosure from the previous owners but to me it appears the vehicle has never been in an accident, the paint still shines and has only one minor rust spot on the right rear about 1/8 of an inch in diameter and some minor chips in the door jam on the drivers side and these two minor issues are hardly even noticeable and can't been seen in the pics. The rims have no curb rash what so ever and look very good, see pics. Two new front tires with less than 3000 miles installed June 2015, back tires have about half tread New battery replaced the end of May 2015 New alternator replaced Jan 2015 New starter replaced Jan 2015 New water pump replaced Jan 2015 New ECU replaced Jan 2015 New spark plug and distributor wires replaced Jan 2015, it is high quality wire set replacement New trunk struts replaced Jan 2015 Air Conditioning works well and blows very cold. The electrical system works well and all lights, signals, power windows, convertible top motor, instrument cluster, aftermarket stereo are in good working condition. Power steering works well Anti Lock Brakes work well, no issues with master cylinder etc.and pads were replaced within last 10000 miles Convertible top was replaced by previous owner sometime in early 2014 and works well, does not leak. Has an addition rebuilt ECU module included in sale, paid $100 Additional New Crank Position Sensor included, paid $80 Additional New Mass Flow Air Sensor included, paid $90 Original spare is brand new, never used Vehicle comes with original repair manual, supplemental manual, original Infiniti box and Infiniti leather case, see pics CONS: The cruise control is currently not functioning and needs a module which is about a $15 part. The struts could use a replacing but still work, the car take turns well but can be a but rough over bigger bumps. The windshield has scratches from previous owner from when she didn't replace the wiper blades and scraped the glass but does not obscure the view for driving. It cannot be seen in the pics and in my opinion isn't that bad but it is there so I'm disclosing it. The trunk release button is missing but trunk still opens with key. The motor that squirts washer fluid is not currently functioning. Seat leather is worn with some rips Heat is currently bypassed as it is a Florida car and has no need for heat. The little slide lever that adjusts the heat & cold is stuck in the cold position and I am not sure what it will take to free it up. On 11/20/2015 I believe the head gasket gave out and I was about two miles from my home so the motor didn't overheat driving it home. I left the car to cool overnight and started it up the next day and it ran OK but needed coolant. I then added coolant to the radiator until full and ran the car for a few minutes until it warmed up, didn't overheat and held the coolant so i shut the car off and when I tried to restart it a few hours later the car cranked slightly but then slowed and stopped cranking, when car sits it will repeat again which indicates to me engine is not seized but water/coolant locked. I believe the broken head gasket has allowed the coolant to leak into one or more of the cylinders which is not letting the car to start as water cannot be compressed and the pistons can't move. I am not 100% positive this is exactly the issue as it is possible the block is cracked but from the way the car acted it appears to me to be the head gasket.I believe that with a replacement head gasket the vehicle will run again without having to machine the head as I didn't overheat it. LEGAL STUFF: I'm selling the vehicle for either repair, as I have no desire to repair, or for parts as there are many good parts on this vehicle, many parts are as good as new in my opinion. Vehicle is not currently running so you will need to make arrangements for shipping or pickup. Cleared payment is necessary before the vehicle is released. If vehicle does not get a good offer I will part it out and sell the shell to the junkyard so I won't be entertaining low ball offers. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. The vehicle report shows 8 owners but much of that was transfers between family members and the vehicle went to auction so technically that's two more transfers of title so there have really been three owners besides me. Please note that vehicle check states there is a lien on the vehicle which there is none the vehicle has free and clear title. Car is located in SW Florida.
