I purchased this car on eBay back in Oct. 2007 for $2100. Had shipped to NY from Nevada for $1125. Was originally a CA car. Worked hard at first and gradually lost the time and money to continue. Since then, I moved, changed jobs and just don’t have the means to continue (I need the money). I’m starting the bidding at 50% of what I have into it so far. I also will be listing plenty of Pontiac 389 and 400 engine parts, a 455 crank, an old Ford truck hood scoop, an older 400 Turbo transmission(from the 80’s I believe) and a 1994 T-56 transmission out of a Camaro. Rolling chassis nearly completed. Built with the idea of modern handling and braking in mind. Began with a complete ground up, body off frame restoration. Nearly all receipts available. Frame painted with POR-15. Front grills and headlight bezels, rear back up lamps, interior bezel kit, door hinge repair kit, lower exterior trim pieces, LeMans emblems, pre-bent stainless steel ⅜” fuel supply and ¼” return piping, pre-bent stainless steel front to rear 3/16” brake line and axle brake lines, right and left rear quarter repair panels, Somebody started to do some body work before I purchased the car. It is terrible workmanship! Both rear quarter panels need repairing. I purchased two rear quarter skins to do the work. They haven’t been used yet and will go with the car. The trunk area needs replacing too. Same horrible workmanship can be seen here too! I never got around to buy a complete trunk kit yet. Floorboards are solid. Fenders and doors and straight. All glass is intact and in good shape. Hood and rear deck lid are straight. Bumpers are mostly good. Chrome is solid, no rust. Some minor scratches and a few little tweaks here and there. Not all folded up like it’s been in some kind a accident. It is missing both front bucket seats, center console, engine, transmission and driveshaft. Stored inside my garage out of the elements. Body is currently still off the frame. I will set it in place for shipping purposes only. I have title signed to me from former owner. I never registered it in my name or with New York State. I'll include it with sale of car. I have no intention of taking less than exactly half of what it’s cost me so far. I feel that’s a fair price. It saddens me to see it go, I always wanted to build it with my son and enjoy it. Hopefully someone else will find enjoyment in rebuilding it and enjoying it. Pics can be made available if wanted. All other glass is intact and in good shape. Steering column is missing. On Nov-23-15 at 18:16:30 PST, seller added the following information: Very solid car. Both hood and trunk lid have no rust. Door bottoms and rocker panels are rust free. Fenders are both good. Bumpers are good. Bottom of windshield/cowl area are good. All the typical areas are good and solid. Even the inner fenders are clean and solid. Around truck area where weatherstripping goes and around the rear taillights are all good too. The only real rust would be in a 3" area underneath the driver's feet where the floor pan has a few minor perforations, and again in same area, same size where rear passenger/left side would put their feet.
