Up for sale is a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. It has an amazingly low 34k original miles. It was a NJ transit truck prior to my purchase. I bought it with 20k miles and have used it daily for the past 2 years. It is cosmetically challenged but mechanically strong. It has made a few trips from Ohio to NJ and back. It drives and handles like a new truck. The suspension and steering is very tight. The brakes are great. The 4WD is strong. The engine sounds great. I just had it in the shop for a big winter prep service. *The front driveshaft and catalytic converter were replaced. *The overdrive unit on the transmission was rebuilt and the tranny and transfer case fluid were replaced.*It has a new battery and a new starter. Last year the brakes were done and the rear half of the exhaust. The truck is so quiet you wouldn't know it's running from a few feet away. The rear tires are newer, the fronts are going to need to be replaced fairly soon. I just had a trailer hitch installed a few months ago, previously it didn't have one. It has the 5.9L 245 HP v8 - it can tow 8500 lbs and has a payload capacity of 4000 lbs. The plow is a meyer e-60 pump - the motor and solenoids were replaced last year.
