Cool little truck in good working order. It's a New Mexico/Arizona truck with great patina. Owner's manual shows ownership dating back to the 1970's in New Mexico. I have invoices for the past 5 years as well. Bought it locally a few months ago and selling it to make room for a larger truck. I love driving it, but I need something larger to haul 4 mountain bikes and 4 people. Auction is a no reserve auction. Bid to own. Specs: stock 1.6 liter engine (L16) and stock 4 speed gear box. Manual windows, manual brakes, manual steering. Drum brakes all around.Truck has been lowered by a previous owner but still rides well and doesn't scrape on speed bumps. No through rust that I could find. Previous owner welded a patch on the driver's floor as shown. As he explained: "it's not pretty but it's solid". This truck could be prepped and clear coated to maintain its current look. A few small issues: turn signals are not currently working. Hazards work. Horn doesn't work. Temperature gauge does not work, but a new sending unit is included. I do plan to address this, if I can find the time. Windshield gasket is old and cracked and should be replaced to keep water out. New ones are $30 on Ebay. I keep the truck in my garage and do not drive it on the rare occasions it rains here, but this could be an issue in wet climates. What's new:-radiator (aluminium rad)-ignition points-ignition condenser-ignition coil-cap-rotor-spark plugs-spark plug wires-turn signal lever assembly (rebuilt unit)-fuel filter-door panels-seat has been re-upholstered-headliner-speedometer cable-wheels (stock wheels, sand blasted, primer + paint)-tires (size: 185/75 R14)-bleed valve on each wheel cylinder-brake master cylinder-adjusted all 4 drums It starts right up and runs great. It stops well. All gears work well, it remains in gear and never grinds. It comes with some spare parts such as a full tune up kit (cap, rotor, points, coil), and some random misc. parts. Emergency brake works very well (holds truck on steep grades)Clear Arizona title already signed over. It is a 44 year old truck so just to remind potential buyers: this Datsun is sold as-is, where-is. I have driven it multiple intervals of 30+ miles and never had issues with it. But it is an antique truck and will require more care than a modern car. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Available for inspection at any time in Tucson, AZ.
