1949 Chevrolet Fleetline 4 Door Sedan. I have owned this vehicle over two decades, having purchased it from the original owners who had parked it in the machinery shed since about 1960. The car comes with the original title, as well as the current one.. This vehicle has primarily been sitting garaged most of the time I have owned it. There has been many alterations. Currently it has a 350 SBC Chevrolet engine with around 2300 miles, and a Turbo 400 Transmission. This engine was new 4 bolt main with flat top pistons, and I added some 62 cc heads and a moderate cam so it would idle correctly. Has a quadrajet carb and stock intake manifold. All motor accessories were new when I installed the short block, and transmission was redone, u joints, drive shaft same time. The front end is stock and rebushed, and the rear end is Nova. This vehicle runs, drives and stops. New front brakes were done, and i cant remember about the rear ones. When I removed from storage, I checked things like head lights, the vacuum wiper motor, horn, radio, heater fan, dome light, etc to see if they were working, and they were at the time I checked them. The interior is clean. Please be advised that this is a about 65 yr old vehicle, and the paint, and glass, and interior were done many years ago, and there is defects in everything. So expect paint and glass and other defects and things that may need repaired, so what you see is what you are getting. There was some rust repairs 20 yrs ago, and some bodywork, as this was an original 1 owner car that sat for at least 35 yrs. I have been driving this vehicle around for the past month, and over to the pond yesterday for pictures. It is sold "As-IS- Where IS". The trunk is also carpeted, and has the fender skirts, fire extinguisher, jack, etc, as well as drive-in tray and misc items, which have always been with the car when it has been taken to the car shows, used in wedding, etc. The original mileage was around 26,000 when it was parked by the farmer, and I have put around 3000 mile on it over the last couple of decades. Also, tires have very good tread.
