For Sale is a 1988 Classic BMW 635 CSI. These cars are hard to come by. I purchased the vehicle for a complete restoration project in December of 2013. I realized at that time, that the complete restoration was not needed, although I have put quite a bit into the restoration. Right now the car has 148,xxx miles on it, but that may go up as it is taken on weekend cruises from time to time. Currently asking $8,000 which is a steal for one in this condition. I am open to offers, but not ridiculous lowballs. Work that has been completed since purchase: All filters oil, fuel, air replacement has been completed. Remove and rebuilt Power Steering Gearbox. Remove and rebuilt Power Steering Pump. Remove and replace most hoses oil and fuel. Rebuilt complete front end suspension. Installed high performance brake rotors and pads. All this work was completed with freshly painted items as needed also. All new cooling system, including thermostat and radiator. New Battery Installed 11/9/14 Air Conditioner charged 8/15/15 All injectors cleaned and adjusted 8/15/15 Recently completed vaccum leak maintenance by replacing vaccum hoses, replaced mass air meter, air intake boots replaced (one with OEM part, and one with custom built part due to unavailability) Refinished interior leather and re upholstered both front seats 4/15/15. Vehicle has a Panasonic 8 disk changer, installed in trunk. This vehicle gorgeous, also is running strong and reliable. I have investigated the damage history, and have found no markers that would indicate it has even been in an accident. There are no leaks anywhere on the vehicle, as far as water entry with windows or sunroof. All electrical works, including, windows, sunroof, and all aspects of both front electric seats, even the headrests. Air Conditioning and Heat system work as advertised. The wheels are gold powder coated BMW 7 series wheels. I also have a set of 4 MOTA wheels and tires that came on the vehicle when I purchased it, I will add them to the deal for an extra $200 (dirt cheap.) Nearly new Falken Azenis tires with about 4,500 miles on them, tread is good to go.
