The DC Taxi Commission says my taxi has reached the maximum number of years allowed in service 2002 Ford Crown Victoria LX 189k miles - two owners - not sure why title check says 3 owners also title check says No Taxi use?? Obviously an existing taxi since 2008 I bought from an elderly couple in New Jersey 2008. Car had 28,000 miles in exceptional condition 2008 converted into taxi and was driven only by me. No rental I became a realtor in late 2014. Bought a more appropriate car suitable for the real estate field. So the cab has sat idle, untouched for nearly 10 months It has a dead battery and will need to be jumped or battery replaced. Ran fine when shut down, would assume to still run fine but buyer buys AS IS with NO warranty Has a thin crack in the windshield. All the rest of the glass is fine Outside driver side rear view mirror has been stolen. Only the actual mirror was taken drivers sunvisor broken due to vandalism definitely will have to replace the battery Taxi looks good and solid. Body is very straight. No accidents since I've owned the car LX alloy wheels. All-weather matching tires in excellent condition leather tan interior, AC, automatic transmission, pw, ps, all standard on the LX model taxi located in SE Washington DC
