This is a 1991 VW Vanagon in good overall shape. I have owned this vehicle for 5 years and have loved it the whole time. It has been my daily driver the entire time. Some good times have been had in it, but it is time to move on. Here's your chance to take over Murphy's fun filled life. It spent much of its life in Oklahoma, then made it to Denver where I bought it, then I traveled with it here to NY 2.5 yrs ago. It has overall proved to be pretty reliable. I have done much to improve it, restore it, or upgrade it. Many of its quirks have been worked out, although some do remain of course. (See heading "transmission"... Has the "Z Bed" (back seat folds into a bed, comfortable for me, I'm 6'1") Has table. Has two jump seats.Storage under back seat which opens up like a chest. Fitted Mats in front and middle. Transmission:Worst part of the whole vehicle. Pops out of first (although if you hold it, it works), second is nowhere, third is questionable and fourth is actually pretty solid. It has a solid clutch, and is driveable, but the transmission will need attention ASAP. Keep this in mind when purchasing. I drove it from Denver to NY with an earlier form of this problem. This is a 24 year old vehicle, so know what you're buying. It has its quirks, it has its blemishes, some call this character (me), some deem it to be less flattering.
