65 GTO Coupe (not hard top). The rarest of all 65 models. Just over 8,000 Coupes were produced as opposed to just over 55,000 hard tops and just over 11,000 convertibles. This one comes with matching numbers 389 4bbl power steering, AC, automatic original matching numbers transmission, vinyl top, added 10 disc CD changer and front disc brakes. I bought this beauty with intentions to restore her but unfortunately I am not able to. I did however get off to a good start. The following parts are NEW and have less than 100 miles on them: Tires: All 4 BF Goodrich Radial TA's (235/60/15's on bk & 215.65/15"s on ft) Wood Steering Wheel Fuel Pump Rochester 4bbl carburetor Master Cylinder Booster Proportioning Valve Brake lines from valve to ft discs back to splitter at rear axle Timing cover Fan Front Disc Brakes PMD Center Caps (all 4) Correct Chrome Lug Nuts (all 16) Fan Shroud Rodney Red Aluminum Radiator Battery Washer Bottle Numerous suspension parts Interior has been professionally refinished with correct upholstery, door panels, headliner and carpet (from Year One) and is in excellent condition as pictures show. I'm not claiming that the car is perfect. Carb needs adjusting, paint isn't perfect, vibration on highway (needs U joints), AC needs servicing, needs window weather stripping and I'm sure other things I'm forgetting but if you're looking for a damn near original rare GTO Coupe to drive and enjoy or finish restoring then this is it. I purchased this baby from the original owner's son. It comes with the original 24 month owners protection plan book with original protecto plate and every service page is punched by the dealers service department!
