1997 Cadillac Deville D'Elegance Northstar V8 Sedan 67,898 Miles - Estate Car Loaded with options! Power Everything! NO RESERVE! You are bidding on a 1997 Cadillac Deville D'Elegance Sedan. The car has the Northstar V8 backed with an Automatic Transmission. This car came from an estate in Tennessee. I bough the car at auction. The car has 67,898 miles. You can tell the car has sat for quite some time. It took a really good detailing for me to get it to the condition you see in the pictures, however it cleaned up very nice. I don't know a whole lot about the car since I've only owned it a couple weeks and have driven it 26 miles but will give you the best description that I can. Features- This car is LOADED up. The D'Elegance package on this car had to be top notch for 1997. Some of the features include power mirrors, locks, windows, doors, trunk, antenna and seats. All are in perfect working condition. The seats are also heated and have memory setting. The information center in the dash gives you about anything you would want to know about the car at a click of a couple buttons. The car is equipped with an AM/FM Cassette sound system which have also all been tested and in working order. Cosmetics- The car is 18 years old, you would not know it if I told you that. Seems to have been well taken care of most of its life. The interior is in good overall conditions. Normal wear in leather but no tears or rips anywhere. Exterior of the car is in decent condition as well. Only items to note are two dents. One is in lower passenger door and has not been touched up. Other is in rear door on drivers side and it has been touched up. Some of the stitching has separated on top, could be glued pretty easy I'd say but I have not attempted. Mechanical- Car runs and drives. The transmission shifts very smooth. The car has a rough start at times but clears out after a few seconds. Not sure if that is old gas from where car has sat a while or what. I drove the car to get it titled an inspected and it seemed to run warm in the 220s-230s. Didn't overheat or go into reduced power mode but did seem warmer than it should have been. I have not investigated this any, could be old coolant or who knows what. The car did run smooth though on the drive, no out of normal noise or engine pings that I could hear. I would recommend towing to be safe and would also recommend to change all fluids before driving any distance as I stated earlier I believed the car sat for a while as the owner of the estate was unable to drive car. The check engine light is only notification light that is currently on. I believe this car would make someone a nice ride with a little attention. Again I dint know much about the car, but from what I can see it has had a pretty good life over the past 18 years and still has plenty of life left.
