1985 BOMBARDIER Iltis Canadian Forces Surplus Former Canadian Forces 1985 Bombardier Iltis for sale! This one is registered for road use in Ontario with MTO Four and two wheel drive, standard transmission, 4 cylinder 1.8 litre VW Rabbit engine, Regular gasoline I have owned this vehicle since 2007. She has had some minor issues (new starter, new fuel pump,batteries) over the years but always continues to run. This vehicle does have a registered VIN with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and will be transferred via ownership to the new owner as is. It was briefly on the road in the early years of ownership until taken to my farm where it remains for hunting and recreational purposes. This one would be perfect for a full restoration. The Iltis has received regular oil changes and had the following work done to it. It is very easy to work on. -brake pads -starter -fuel pump, non military and location changed for easier access -2 new batteries, this year She currently needs: -a wash.... -windshield -body work, normal floor rust, front floor by feet, bottom of battery compartment under rear seats -bracket for drivers side mirror needs replacement -one burnt out rear tail light The following extras are not in the photos and come with the Iltis aside from what you see, some accessories are hard to find: - 2 spare full sets of doors aside from whats photographed (8 doors), used, very hard to find, some rougher than others - blackout kit which includes, windshield cover, mirror covers -door bag which can contain 4 doors -Ambulance model rear portion of top tarp, not for this model but hard to find -CD of Iltis manual -2 large Canadian Forces manuals in binders on how to take it completely apart Vehicle to be picked up by new owner in Dunnville, Ontario at buyers expense. Ownership provided and filled out upon pick up. For US bidders, I am not familiar with the export procedure to the United States, that is the buyers problem.
