I purchased this 911 996 carrera from a doctor that had it since 2000 . He kept it garaged and put 200 K miles on it enjoying every one of them. Always serviced at Porsche dealership , tires are real nice, interior real nice, a/c, 6 speed, loaded, sunroof, all books, tools, 1 remote factory key, radio code card, memory seat . One morning he backed it out of the garage and it started making a clicking noise. He had it towed to dealer and they told him the IMS shaft bearing was bad. They said the trans could be removed to fix it but he decided to sell it to me instead. I have done nothing to it but remove the belt and turn engine with a wrench. It turns one way , stops , then back it up a little and turn it again. They say it is typical bearing fail and timing chains get loose. The good thing about this one is it did not happen at 6000 rpm , but did it at an idle and he shut it off. I have a lot going on or I would pull the engine and fix it . Clear FL title in my name to be signed over to new owner. THIS IS A NON RUNNING CAR SOLD AS--IS. project ---CLEAN CARFAX . I will require an immediate deposit thru paypal and the rest is due in cash.
