1967 Chevrolet Nova 2 door hardtopSmall block Chevy, 700R4 transmission.Runs very good! No noise, no smoke.Bucket seats, console. Interior looks pretty good but the buckets have rips.Needs some tlc….I thought I wanted one of these but I was wrong…..I’m more the 1955-1966 big car or Chevelle kind of guy.I got the car pretty much the way it is with the following exceptions:New aluminum radiator.New hoses and belt.New chrome 1 wire alternator.New headers.New exhaust pipes and glasspack mufflers.New HEI distributor.New spark plugs and wires.New fuel filter.New battery.New wiring front to rear.New gas tank and sending unit.New carpet.New door panels. Somebody in the past did the following:New wheel cylinders.New dual master cylinder.Some new brake lines.Edelbrock carb. With electric choke.High torque mini starter.New brake drums and shoes.Patched the truckPatched the floors by riviting sheet metal in, it's strong and usable for a driver. I think you could work on this car for a weekend and have a very dependable driver. It does run very good. If you looking for a show car, keep looking.The following needs to be done before driving:The wipers aren’t hooked up, need the bolts, the clip that goes on the wiper shaft and to be wired.The heater doesn’t work, no heater hoses and the wiring isn’t hooked up (I was going to use Vintage air)There is no roof rail weatherstrips.The suspension should be checked , I took it for a drive and it needs something..Somebody has replaced the upper ball joints, I'd replace the lowers and tie rod ends.I drove it up to the gas station so I know the transmission shifts properly.No speedo cable. Can't seem to find the inside door handle for the passenger door.No trunk lock or door locks. All in all it’s not a bad car and would make somebody a fun car that you can drive and improve as you go.I realize the cars not perfect, but it is a ’67 Nova 2 door hardtop, parts for these cars are very reasonable and plentiful.I’d keep it and finish it, but it just isn’t my kind of car… Feel free to make an offer, I will end the auction early.
