The '69 Camaro was indeed popular and ubiquitous, that said Z/28's account for about 8% of total Camaro production in 1969. The Z/28 is highly desired and relatively rare amongst Camaro enthusiasts. Camaro in general continues to be popular with the reveal of the sixth generation this week- which looks a LOT like this car does. She was born out of the Norwood, OH on February 28, 1969 and sold new at Blemont Chevrolet/Oldsmobile in Weston, Ontario. Owned by the current owner since July 20, 1998 and stored in a climate controlled garage, showing 5,500 miles clocked on the odometer. Her pedigree is undeniable, GM of Canada Documented with 100% numbers matching, born with drivetrain. She presents largely as factory equipped with only a couple of added options, originally available, including the Cowl Hood, Power Steering, and Wheel Lip Moldings. Exterior Description Original body panels are intact with no evidence or history of rust through or crash repair. Body panel fit is good to excellent, with only the driver’s side door needing minor adjustment. The car is tight, runs and drives like it rolled off the assembly line. The paint is single stage 52 Garnet Red, just as was the original from the factory.  Interior Description The interior is in overall excellent condition. You want a vintage Z/28 Camaro where everything still actually works? This is it. Engine Bay Description Original "Born With" Engine Assembly as verified by a Camaro concours Judge and member of the Camaro Research Group. You know the saying- reproduction parts have no collector value. The engine bay was restored and sports all of the factory issued accoutrements down to the factory inspection markings. The same can be said for the rest of the driveline.  Chassis Description The undercarriage was likewise restored, disassembled, one bolt at a time, each removed cleaned, and reinstalled before the next one was sent. The only items replaced on the vehicle are the gas tank, mufflers with original NOS parts, and a new shift linkage (with the original shifter intact).
