Vehicle Detail

THIS IS A 10/06/15THIS A NOTICE TO ALERT ANY ONE WHO IS READING THE VEHICLE HISTORY SHOWS THERE IS A LEIN ---THE LEIN HAS BEEN PAID FOR AND AUTHORIZING SIGNATURE HAS BEEN SIGNED ON THE TITLE BY LENDING -----INSTITUTION I am selling this 1988 V.W. Fox station Wagen I am NOT sure it was manufactured in Germany. I bought it from a friend. He had it under a carport covered with a canvas. When he finally decided to sell it to me, he lost the keys for it. The odometer reads 117,467 miles. I bought the V.W. used. I do have the title. Here is my info on it. I had keys made new spark plug wires, plugs. The gas tank had to be replaced , the gas turned to varnish. I replaced both fuel pumps, one under one in the tank. and the fuel filter has not been replaced. The new tank was modified to put the new fuel pump in. I ordered, and the company sent me a JETTA pump. It does function. The company that did it did a great job in my opinion the steel manufacture asked all the right questions and put gaskets and modified so it the pump be taken out with the lines running the correct way. The fuel filter has not been replaced. Cannot recall the name, the acenutuator- or something to that effect was replaced. Sorry I am not a wrench, these 3 parts are all in a rack under the car. All four tires are new, never on the payment. One has a slow leak. The car cranked and sounded good but would not start. I was told the fuel distributor could be the problem. I called BUG- E -WAREHOUSE in San Antonio and was told to call PYTHON in California. They were closed I believe, permanently. I found a blog that gave a name to another California company that refurbishes . I was told $269.00 to ship refurbish and return. I told the mechanic he said before I take it off let me check the compression. These are the results-- I. 105 PSI 2, 130 PSI 3. 90PSI 4. 0 . I did drain the radiator, afterwards. The body is straight, the rust is mild. It never gets mega cold in San Antonio. The interior is original, bit dirty but okay. All lights wipers, and radio works fine. The Back hatch to the wagen needs to be propped up to open. The hatch lock need to be greased or whatever so the key works. A new fuel cap is needed. There is no battery The Fox's Ignition key slips on track and does not lock door on the Fox. It was working fine when key man made them. I believe this is a good deal if you know what your doing . I wanted to keep it and drive, but to much for me to invest in. Will answer all inquiries best to my knowledge. CASH OR PAYPAL, no checks ,money orders, or Debit cards. please. You pick it up and pay towing with your money . Thank you . 210 421 9338- Ken
