MUSCLE CAR GARAGE: We are a private collection of 60's and 70's muscle cars. We also do restorations in our two locations in the Jacksonville and Orlando area. From time to time we decide to offer one of our collector cars up for sale. Our vehicles are usually full "nut and bolt" restorations and are the quality of a regional or local show car winner. Many of our cars are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing restorations to the level of regional show car quality. We are not a concourse restorer, and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if you choose to do so. ALL AROUND DETAILS: Up for auction is our beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. This car is a very fine example with zero corrosion. The car was nut & bolt restoration about 15 years ago and less than 2000 miles have been put on it since. This Mustang has all original body panels that are very solid and there is no evidence of rust anywhere including floor pans and trunk pans.. This is a well preserved car. It is finished in beautiful Caribbean Blue Metallic with a flawless vinyl top and 17" Cragar SS wheels. Mustang has deluxe Pony Interior in two tone black and parchment. The drivetrain is a very strong running later model 302 with a toploader 4 speed transmission. Everything on this car has either been replaced or restored and everything works as it should from all the gauges, to the electrical wiring, to the engine, transmission, and brakes. This is an exceptional Mustang that can be driven everyday or taken to Local and Regional Car shows. EXTERIOR DETAILS: The car was painted 14 years ago and is still very nice. This car has been kept in a garage under a car cover and out of any rain for the last 15 years. All chrome and stainless trim are in very good shape. The rocker moldings and cove inserts were replaced. The front bumper was replaced long ago and is not perfect but still very nice driver quality. The rear bumper is new. The vinyl top is in excellent shape with no tears, rips, peeling, or corrosion underneath. Wheels are 17" Cragar SS chrome wheels with newer tires. Dual exhaust exits at the back under the rear valance with chrome rolled tips. All in all the exterior presents very well. INTERIOR DETAILS: Everything has been replaced on the inside from the carpet to the headliner and everything in-between. Door panels, dash pad, visors, seats, headliner, carpet, window cranks and door handles, dash bezel, glove box door, all knobs and switches, steering wheel, etc were replaced during the restoration. Car when gutted was painted inside and fitted with sound deadening material prior to the carpet and headliner going in. The radio is a working aftermarket AM-FM Panasonic component with Pioneer 6x9 speakers mounted in the package tray. all courtesy lighting and door lights work as new. All the gauges and back lighting also work as they should. Car does have aftermarket seat belts for the front and Mustang embroidered carpet mats in front & rear. Horn blows and wipers work as they should as well as headlights and turn signals. All window regulators have been rebuilt. All weatherstripping, window channels, & rubber seals have been replaced. Cabin fan blower also in working order. ENGINE BAY & MECHANICAL: The 302 engine was rebuilt 15 years ago but less than 2000 miles have been put on since then. Toploader 4 -speed transmission shifts with ease and new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing were done when the engine was out. Radiator was replaced with larger core for better cooling and has no issues running hot in Florida temperatures. Engine has factory exhaust manifolds, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and Holley 4-barrel carb. Mustang has rebuilt power brakes and manual steering. All suspension components have been replaced including ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings, and 4 new coil over shocks. Engine bay is highly detailed for car shows and has no leaks of any kind. Car starts right up every time and is a joy to drive. Steers, brakes, and shifts as it should. SUMMARY: This is a very nice example of a rust free Mustang which is very very hard to find. It is nice enough for any car show but no so perfect that you would not want to drive it. You are getting a beautiful blue 4-speed Mustang that has been completely redone with very little miles since restoration. Underneath the car is very clean with no grime or dirt. The car runs and drives as good as it looks and everything, and I mean everything works on the car. There are no surprises with this car. It is super nice and very reliable.
