I am the ORIGINAL OWNER and will provide the original sticker and sales contract upon request. This truck is in very good condition, especially given its age, and should offer its new owner years of good service. condition. It has been used to transport my family of 8 and my DJ equipment for a few years. I am out of that business and kids are grown up, hence the sale. I added a trailer brake controller to the Ford trailer package around 2003 to tow a boat (did that twice) and a DJ trailer (did that 3 times). It has never been used for snow plowing, or modified in any way. Engine is the well-regarded 7.3L with the factory intercooled turbocharger. It has given me reliable service and terrific power. The Limited edition offers the beautiful interior and extra sound prevention so you hardly hear the engine. I have found that in the winter it starts with or without plugging in the glow plugs. I have consistently changed the oil every 3-5K miles, and it sounds good and runs well. As is common with these trucks, the oil pan leaks oil. I have lived with it, and add oil when needed. Buyer may want to replace or repair it - I have taken that in consideration when pricing the truck. In addition, there is a good amount of rust on the undercarriage of the truck, though not to the extent I've seen on others where it has affected the quarter panels and wheel wells.All options work, with the exception of the backup warning beeper (see below). Tires are 80%. On the advice of the tire shop, I installed the Pirelli spare when buying the tires, as it was in good shape but getting older, and have the fourth new tire as the spare now. The self-locking front hubs are a known issue, so I replaced them with WARN manuals. This truck has never been in any accidents, and the exterior is in very good condition overall. There are some minor scratches on the exterior, which could probably be buffed out (they don't bother me so I never tried). When you wash this truck, it still has a nice and shiny look, including the chrome bumpers. The side rails, which are color-matched and lighted, need replacement. Rather than do it myself, I leave that choice to the buyer and discounted that in the price. The rear bumper has a dent from my backing into a mailbox, which sometimes affects the backup beeper system, so I just keep it turned off. The chrome wheels all have oxidation so they don't look as good as the bumpers, though perfectly functional. Interior is in excellent condition, with normal cracking from wear on the front seats and some staining on rear passenger seat. The handle to bring driver's side rear seat forward to allow access to 3rd row needs replacement. staining on one of the rear seats. Original floor mats are in surprisingly good shape after a thorough cleaning. Steering wheel is like new because it's always been covered (still is), and dash has no cracks. I am looking to sell this truck relatively quickly and have priced it accordingly. While I have tried to describe it as best I can, I point out that this is a 15-year-old vehicle , so expect the unexpected, That said, buyer is welcome to come check it out. Buyer may either drive it away or pay for arrangements to have it brought to him, sale is as-is, where-is. I live in Sharon, Massachusetts, about 45 minutes from Boston.
