Thanks for taking a look at our 1969 Fiat 850 Fastback Sport Coupe winter project car. This project was purchased here in California a part of a package of cars where it appears to have spent the majority of it’s life. Rust is less than expected but present on both front fenders. Otherwise the car is solid. The engine is out of the car but could easily be put back in for shipping. There is a spare transaxle included. This solid project 850 Fastback would be a great candidate for a vintage racer or full restoration.. Exterior.Originally produced in Red. Repainted in Silver many years ago. Blue paint is also showing. The body is generally straight and shows no signs of prior accident or frame repair. Wheels TiresAlloy wheels on rollers with shop quality tires. Needs full restoration. EnginePresent but out of the car. Rebuild suggested. Braking/SteeringAppears complete but needs attention. The car rolls and steers easily. OdometerThe odometer shows 68000 miles. This is a five digit odometer and is potentially beyond it's capacity to measure. True mileage therefore, is unknown. Great meeting you guys who came out to inspect and boy, do a couple of you have some wild plans! We want a ride when you're done! Couple of corrections; 1. We messed up on the year model. This is a 1971 according to the VIN. If that is a deal breaker, please let us know and we'll cancel your bid. A VIN Verification is now complete and included. 2. Wheels. It appears those are a factory alloy wheel, available at the time as an "expensive" option according to one of our inspectors. We made reserve pretty early so get your bids in and inspections done.
