Holy Cow...here's a blast from the past. Where else but eBay can you find a 1973 Camaro Z-28, factory 350 / 4-Speed car with a straight and solid body, a straight and solid frame and everything necessary to start a world-class restoration or to build a really classy resto-mod? No engine or transmission (originally a 350/245 hp engine with a 4-speed manual transmission), but the original posi-traction rear end is intact, the underside of the car is rust-free, clean and un-damaged. The exterior sheet metal is remarkably straight and rust-free including the rear quarter-panels. The driver's side floor pans have some rust-holes that will require patching but won't likely need to be replaced. Passenger's side appears to be solid. The trunk floor has had some fiberglass repair work done. Built as a Factory Z-28 (see under-hood data plate photo), this car came equipped with the most powerful 350 offered in 1973, at 245 horsepower. Coupled to a Muncie Close-Ration 4-speed transmission and a 3.73:1 Posi-Traction rear end, the car was a respectable performer. And, decked out in Light Yellow with a black vinyl interior, she was a great looking ride! And, this particular car features one of my favorite factory options EVER...a rear window defrost package that involves a fan built in beneath the rear window deck! This old Z has been apart and in storage for many years and has just recently been brought back out into the sunlight. It has been stored dry so is not a bucket of rust and / or mold and all original sheet metal is sound, straight, rust-free and included. The interior is mostly out of the car but is included and is certainly adequate to be re-used as patterns (except for headliner and carpet). Chrome trim, bumpers, and a host of smaller parts are all included as well.
