Vehicle Detail
2 Owner car from my family! Yes, the Autocheck shows 3 owners which from a registration standpoint is true, but it was simply change from my stepdad's personalized plate to my sister's plate. I can vouch for piles and piles of records kept on this car. Good ones, bad ones. ALL in detail providing a lovely history on this vehicle. My little sister's daily driver for college purposes with a part time job. ALL the GM recalls have been performed namely the ignition tumbler and recently as last month, a fuel leak issue (not technically a recall but an "extended warranty" that GM paid for). Yes we have proof and you could also check with ANY GM dealership by having them run the VIN or purchase a Carfax. The exterior is the beautiful midnight blue color...Sapphire, I believe it's called. The paint looks great with the exception of random tiny dark sap stains that most likely could be removed from a professional buff. Hard to see unless you get up on 'em. Obviously being a Saturn, no rust to be found on the body. One ding on the roof. No noticable damages to the body panels or bumper covers. In fact, the front bumper cover is brand new with barely a rockchip. If you noticed, the AutoCheck also shows one "accident". Again, logistically correct but it didn't involve another vehicle. While driving back to school on her regular 5 hour drive each way, my sister hit "something" in the road (Welcome to Illinois). This didn't damage the frame or suspension items, but she was forced to make a police report and ultimately an insurance claim. I may miss a few things but the bumper cover, license frame, AC Condenser, Radiator, Trans Pan, and other misc items including ALL the associated fluids/freon, are ALL new since that occurrence back in 2013. Because the transmission lost it's fluid, the transmission was ALSO replaced with a used one with less miles. Add that list to ALL the GM recalls as of late, and this car is justlikenew2u!! No major body repairs or repaints aside the front bumper cover area. Panels are all matching and nice. No patches or cracks. Below, altho the car has a sunroof that was once working, it has stopped. Fuse perhaps? Arizonan tires are all nearly new and matching at every corner sporting 90+% treadlife left. All ride on minimally damaged vibration free rims. Unseen are the recently NEW front and rear brakes! Rotors, rear drums, pads, shoes, hardware, etc. The car also sports new stabilizer links up front. Doors operate perfectly. All exterior illumination works properly. Rear bumper cover looks great. Spoiler is great. Typical expected light scratches, but nothing large enough to point out. No signs of the typical GM paint fade either....77k miles and it shows!! Super shiny paint, note reflection of my chicken legs!! Imagine how this will improve with a professional detail. Front headlight lenses have minimal clear coating fade as well. No cracks or damages to these or the driving lights below. Interior is an 8 out of 10 nitpicking ONLY for the seat stains. I HATE smoke and my sister isn't a smoker, but sadly the original owner must have been. The little "stains" are actually silicone clear patches for what must have been burn holes. the car does NOT smell like smoke at all. Long gone. She got the car like this back in 2008 or so and it has lasted since. Carpet looks great. Steering wheel and shifter handle look great. Dash is perfect. ALL the power items work as they should (cept the sunroof): windows, locks, keyless entry (new recall ignition tumbler and keys installed from dealer), cruise, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, HOT HEAT, AM/FM/CD player with OnStar and AUX input for mini stereo (iPod, cell phone, etc), etc!! ALL the dummy lights illuminate as they should upon startup with NONE staying on during run. Yes...ONLY 77k miles! She bought a newer Focus and just drove over 5 hours to bring this car to me to sell! Super duper reliable not to mention ridiculous gas mileage (I believe she stated 28-30mpg average). Aside the silicone touchups, the cloth remains undamaged as far as cuts, wears or tears. Even the driver's bolster looks good! Below only the front 2 floormats are intact. Unseen is the spare setup, aired up for your roadtrip! The car "had" a Bazooka tube added by yours truly, but is now gone, hence the small slit in the left lower corner of picture in the truck cover. Above ther rear seating area looks barely sat in. Below, one of the MANY receipts of history on the car. This one was the recent one (about a month ago) regarding the fuel system leak that was fixed by this particular dealership. Last picture at the end of this ad shows ALL the factory (new under ignition recall) keys along with the 2 factory keyless entry keyfobs ALONG WITH 2 AFTERMARKET Code Alarm keyfobs. Yours truly installed a remote start system with keyless entry and trunk release back in 2009. Everything STILL works but because the ignition tumbler was replaced, a different RF moduled key code has been entered. The remote start will NOT start the car now with the old key module. Since I have stopped doing these sorts of installations, I have no access to a new module. These are about $25-50 on ebay or you can check in with your local car audio shop for a new replacement. I tried to reset the old one for you with no avail. It will be an easy replacement when you are ready. The car retains ALL of the remote start features including the "pit stop" mode...all of which I will run you thru AFTER purchase. Factory basic manual is included below. Engine compartment is super clean. No issues. Strong battery fires the perfectly running engine up and runs smoothly. All fluids are fresh as stated save for the oil...change is due shortly, yet the fluids are clean. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No spots on my shop floor overnight. No overheating. Transmission shifts as it should with no issues. Suspension is tight with no pops or rattles or squeaks. Car drives straight and smooth over any surfaces with no unusual pulling or wandering.
