Now that I'm approaching the age of 65, I am selling my beloved Porsche Boxster S. I have had a very happy 6 1/2 years of ownership, but I need the money to buy an airplane. I purchased the Porsche on March 1, 2009 from a Toyota engineer living in Laguna Beach, CA. He was the second owner. The first owner was a family friend of the Toyota engineer. Both of the prior owners took incredibly good care of the car. It was always garaged and the paint and trim show very little wear. Even though the car spent it's first seven years in the Chicago area, it was only driven during the Spring and Summer. It was never driven in the snow, and is rust free. I purchased the car in March 2009 when it only had 17,130 miles on it. I have driven it just under 50,000 miles and enjoyed every minute of it. The car is fast, fun to drive, and incredibly reliable. And it still looks great parked in my garage. I have also really enjoyed being a member of the Porsche Club of America and the 356 Registry. I have the original window sticker that shows the price of this car when new was over $55,000. I think used Porsche Boxsters are the best sports car value for the money available today.
