Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is an early production 1965 mustang known in the mustang world as a 1964 1/2. It is a manual transmission and 6 cylinder 170 cid engine. Just rebuilt the carb did tune up front brakes (hubs, cylinder, springs shoes). After doing the brakes it became known that the master cylinder and brake lines needed to be replaced. They have been purchased and will come along with the auction. The car will run off of a gas can , but the fuel lines, and gas tank need to be replaced. I have purchased them and they also will be included with the auction. New tires put on. The paint and interior need work. This car was repainted red years ago and should clean up pretty decent, if your not looking to do body work and paint right away. If your looking to go back to origin it started life as a cream / yellow color. The interior also needs work I am including the dash pad, carpet, So all you would probably have to buy are seat covers as the front seats are cracking. The rear isn't too bad and possibly a headliner. I also have new locks, and tail light lenses which will be included in sale. I hate to see it go before I finish it but don't really have the time right now to finish it. If you have any questions email, text or call me. Additional note The floor needs a minor repair on both the drives side and passenger side. If you have any questions feel free to ask. You will not have to put too much more money into the car, I will mainly be labor as from what I'm thinking you would just head headliner seat covers bumpers some body work and paint to finish her real nice. When she is done you will have a nice 1964.5 Mustang with a 3 speed manual transmission. Which I'm assuming is somewhat rare, but we will never know as the real production numbers were lost. Additionally, this car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if it sells prior to end of auction.
