1988 Mercedes 560SL This Vehicle Runs and Drives Very Well. The Engine is Very Smooth and the Transmission Shifts Fine. The Interior and Exterior are Both Very Nice. The Overall Condition of this Vehicle for the Year is Far Above Average. As with Any "Pre-Owned" Vehicle of this age however there could be some deferred maintenance or necessary repairs. We have driven the vehicle and have compiled the following list of items that we could verify: Works: Air Conditioning Heater Power Windows (Driver Switch Sticks Occasionally) Power Door Locks Power Passenger Mirror Temp Guage Tachometer Clock Not Working: Odometer (Exact Mileage of the Vehicle is Unknown at this Point) Speedometer Fuel Guage (Works but Doesn't Seem to Register Properly) Oil Pressure Guage Unknown: Radio (Needs Code) Cruise Control Hard Top Convertible (Missing the tool to Remove the Top) We are a Used Car Dealer in Arizona and have seen our fair share of cars over the last 10 years. We know that "condition" is always a subjective term. We feel that for the year of this vehicle it is in "Above Average" condition. We make no implications that it is perfect but again, we feel that this is an extremely nice vehicle for the year. This would be a great vehicle with some minor reconditioning or just a nice driver as it sits. This vehicle shows no signs of rust or corrosion and appears to have been garage kept as the paint still shines up nicely. The interior is in above average condition with just a minor tear in the drivers side seat bolster. The Paint and Body are very straight with only about 3-4 imperfections that we could find.
