This Triumph trophy trail is a two year only model and the miles on it are the original miles. This bike was owned by a gentleman that only came down during Bike Week and he had 3 motorcycles that he left here at our shop, this one, a 76 ss175 Harley Davidson, and a XLH Sportster. This particular bike has been across the street in our warehouse for as long as I can remember, the last tag that was on it was dated 1985. I pulled it out, put a brand new battery, brand new tires/ tubes front and rear and it fired up immediately. Since then I installed a surfboard rack and drove it 30 miles to my house and then one other time I drove it approx. 5 miles to a chopper beach bash. It is a super cool little bike and runs great, this little 500 will go pretty good and the surf board rack is removable in about 10 minutes. It handles fine in the wind, I also have a brand new Biltwel Exfil bag for all your travel needs, wax, towel, sunblock etc... This is a fun bike but I never really get a chance to ride it, I am only selling as am sending a kid through college. I am starting with a low bid and going with a NO RESERVE auction- you can watch all you want, but you will have to bid to win!!! GOOD LUCK! Production date is 11/ 1972 but that places it as an 73 model. See the pictures as this bike is not showroom condition , it is solid and looks good but has minor sitting to long wear, small surface pits in some of the chrome but no rust that has broke through any metals, just pitting.
