Up for sale is this beautiful 100 % Rust Free 1983 Mercedes 380 SEC Coupe. The car is a 2 owner car first owner was a woman who owned it up until 4 years ago and the last owner was a sheriff in Hartford CT. The car was always garaged and serviced. The Anthracite paint is in Excellent condition and shines like new only a few minor imperfections but nothing to mention no dents or major scratches. The palamino leather interior is also excellent. The seats are very soft and supple and show nearly no wear. Their is no major fading to the interior which is common on these cars. The wood is in excellent condition with a nice gloss to it. The carpets ,headliner ,dash and door panels all look great. Inside the car The climate control switches from heat to Cold AC. The power windows all work as does the sunroof. Open the door and the Seat belt retractors hand you the seat belt. The drivers side has a mind of its own sometimes it doesn't work always . It has a New kenwood Cd player with a USB port the Original power antenna works properly as well. I do have the Original Becker radio in the trunk and it does work. Mechanically the car seems to be in great shape there was a lot of service recently. New Tires, new brakes, New radiator , new alternator, New battery , New catalytic converter New updated Ac with 134 , Full tune up including plugs , wires and belts. I have the service history on this car and it will go along with the car. I Normally wouldn't buy a Mercedes with over 100 k miles since I usually deal with lower mileage cars. But when i saw this car and drove it I had to buy it . It looks and drives amazing and it has European headlights that make it much easier to see at night then with US lights. The car runs super smooth and has great power. It shifts very smooth as well. The Sec's are amazing cars and with the windows down it feels like a true coupe . I think this car makes an Excellent daily driver and someone will be very happy . Its classy and beautiful and doesn't show its age at all. They are easy to replace see pic. also the wood on the glove box is not burl wood its Zebrano the wood cracked and was replaced with this Also a easy part to get.
