Vehicle Detail

No rust, West Coast car. Way presentable and ready to cruise. Always starts and more importantly, always gets me back home. Perfect? Nope. An embarrassment? HELL NO!!! Bought it 3 years ago from an old guy named Johnson in Sequim, WA. for $8500.00 Since then spent some bucks(and broke some knuckles), to wit" brakes all new stem to stern as of January 2015(new wheel and master cylinders, shoes, fittings, rubber lines, and new wheel bearings all four corners). New Coker wide whites(radial) July 2014(not 200 miles driven since)($1100.00 for four tires...incredible!), rebuilt speedo and new cable Mar 2015, new headlight switch and new signal light control, new battery(Aug 2015), new battery box and rebuilt fresh air vent passenger side(former domicile of mice and squirrels), new plug wires, plugs, rotor, points. condenser, dist cap shortly after purchase(I've put just shy of 2000 miles on car since purchase in October 2012), matching color fender skirts (wrapped in blanket) in the trunk. What doesn't work 100%? Horn. Wasn't hooked up when I bought it and haven't gotten around to it. Heater fan is a bit noisy. And don't leave it out in the rain all day cause the driver side carpet will get wet(that's why in rainy Washington it's always been garaged). So let's cut to the chase. Paid $8500.00 invested another $6000.00 since, thus the buy it now price of $14,500. Yeah would like to get my money back, but I'm a realist $10,000.00 won't buy it, but a number twixt that and $14,500.00 just might. Wife recently bought a new car and she thinks IT needs to be occupying the garage space presently held by the '50 Chev. Really? Who cares about a new Honda CRV?( Her I guess). So buy yourself one cool old Chevy and save me from further domestic discord. Title is A-OK, which I will exchange for greenbacks. No IOU's, checks, money orders. payments. I buy that way...I sell that way. Included with car is a condition unknown(but presumed) rebuildable 1958 vintage 235 cu in Chevy 6-cylinder motor.
