Vehicle Detail
This is a 1998 H1 6.5 Turbo Diesel, with only 13,300 miles. It has been customized into HMMWV M1026 configuration featuring military armored doors and windows, slantback and rear hatch with turret. No expense was spared on the conversion, all AM General or HMMWV genuine parts including hardware and seals and everything assembled to factory specs. This vehicle offers the best of both worlds, the comfort of a plush civilian interior with AC, and the unique look and security of an up-armored Humvee. Features include CTIS tire inflation system, A/C, CD with Fosgate amp, Kicker bass box with two 10's, VERY loud system, Up Armored doors and door windows, deep fording snorkel and exhaust, armored grill, military door locks, factory jack kit, towing package, Mile Marker hydraulic winch, heavy duty brush guard, heavy duty military rear bumper with D rings, weapons mount on turret, and a new extra fuel pump. Grey interior in excellent condition, black exterior paint is in excellent condition. This vehicle project started as an H1 Wagon with only 2400 miles, I slid off a wet dirt road into a rock overhang damaging the drivers side roof and door. After looking at replacement costs to buy a new roof and door, verses a military spec top kit, and armored doors I chose to re-build the vehicle's body into the M1026 configuration, all damage parts were removed and replaced. I have an original M1026, everything was double checked with the M1026 HMMWV for original fit and proper components during the build. It is truly an eye catcher and VERY intimidating, and with the 12 volt system and H1 components it is a breeze to service anywhere,It has all servicing done, and just had the PMD relocation kit installed to ensure fuel injection failure from the poor factory design does not occur. There is NOTHING this vehicle needs, it is ready for many years of reliable service. I welcome inspection at any reputable service center in the Prescott area. It can be picked up full dress with the deep fording snorkel, and exhaust pipe installed, or they can be packaged and placed in the bed.
