Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 96 Pontiac Trans Am. The body is very clean 100% rust free. No dents or dings. The paint presents very well with the exception of the fiberglass hood that was painted from a can. This is a true muscle car. The original LT1 engine was torn down and rebuilt into the 550 hp 383 stroker thats in it now. The engine has less then 1,000 miles on it. The trans was just replaced with a Tremec T-56 6 speed that was built to handle 700 hp. New trans has less then 50 miles on it.I've got over $12,000 invested in just the engine, trans and rear end. Yes, the frame is tied and welded. The rear suspension is adjustable tubular UMI products. The BF Goodrich tires are brand new and were another $800...and no, if you get in the throttle these tires do not get traction. I'd recommend a pair of drag radials. I ran it 2 times at the track before the new trans went in and it ran 11.23 and 11.16 in the 1/4. Too much to list on this car... ENGINE:Eagle rotating assembly (Steel crank, Hbeam rods, forged pistons 10.5 to 1)Block .030Lunati Roller cam Lift .580 duration .292Roller liftersScorpion Roller tip rockers 1.6Patriot Aluminum heads 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust ported and polishedAftermarket Fuel delivery systemArizona Speed and Marine throttlebodyTRANS:Brand new Tremec T56 6 speed trans with Zoom clutch and pressure plate with Zoom flywheel REAREND:10 Bolt with Eaton posi carrier and Richmond 4.10 gears Complete Magna flow exhaust system with Kooks long tube headers. Its got a great sound and lopey idle. It is a Mustang killer!I've got 18K into the car and want to get some of this money back. Obviously I offer NO WARRANTY!This is pick up only...I do not ship! If you have paid for the car in cash I will be happy to work with any shipper YOU arrange. Good luck and happy bidding! On Sep-08-15 at 17:23:55 PDT, seller added the following information: May consider trade for gas/diesel 4x4 extended cab pickup. 3/4 ton or 1 ton of equal or lesser value.
