1972 mercury montego. One owner, my granddad. The car has new upholstery in 2000, with no rips, tears, or burns as the car has never been smoked in. One dent from a deer, gold colored, and parked in covered parking. 80,812 original miles on the engine, and my granddad did not speed in the car. The carburetor was just rebuilt and the gas tank was cleaned and coated twice. The mechanic said there is a problem with the coil; that it's firing yellow and it should be blue. He said I could pull the coil off my Chevy Venture to replace it. That should fix the car, but I'm not a mechanic. The tires need to be replaced because the car has been sitting. My grand dad changed the a/c to new system and there's a leak somewhere in the line so the a/c is not working correctly, but it does blow.. The car comes with all the books: oil changes, gas fill ups, etc on the car. Owner manual included. Seats 6. 351 engine is interchangeable with other cars. Dent on the front passenger side from a deer. I have the title in hand and will have to be signed into YOUR name at the DMV before the sale. We have forms and papers from the DMV to fill out. 1 owner of the vehicle. I thought it would be an easy fix, but I've now put 500.00 into the car and it's only a little better than when I started.
