1960 Chevy El Camino. I bought this car almost 9 years ago. The previous owner had brought it up from Del Rio, TX several years earlier. It has been stored inside the whole time I have owned it. I guess it's a true barn find because it's in my barn/shop (concrete floors) and maybe ... you found it! The car ran when I bought it but have parked it since then. It doesn't run without a little work and don't want to bother with it. (Nuther words - bring your trailer - we ain't messing with it.) Was told it has an early 327 and hydraulic clutch with 3 speed on the floor. I love this car but just don't have the time to bother with it. My loss - your gain. I took a lot of pictures showing more detail but our ebay does not let me list more than a sampling. If you are truly interested please contact me and I will send you more pictures. The car is solid. Has had floor pans replaced at some point. The bed was removed previously with the intention of putting in diamond plate or something like that. Any real rust is around one corner of the tail gate. The plates that cover the bottom floor beside the rear cabin are also a little torn up. Basically it needs a total overhaul but the car is Texas solid. That said with a little TLC you could have this car running in an afternoon. Previously front end fenders were both bent a little but they should hammer out well. I bought it just like it is now.
