Here is why! Jack and Claire Miller opened their 1st Miller's Ale House restaurant in 1988 in beautiful Jupiter, Florida. It has become a "must dining place" and is still going strong after 27 years. In 2013 the Millers sold their extremely successful restaurant chain with 70 locations spanning from South Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada. The selling price to Roark was undisclosed but it is public knowledge that the chain grossed over $340 Million the prior year. While Jack & Claire were building and expanding their restaurant business, Jack was also pursuing his life long love affair with the automobile, and in particular the iconic Ford Mustang. By 2008 Jack had accumulated so many cars that he had run out of warehouse space in Jupiter to store his collection. He purchased over 2 acres in Jupiter and built the world renowned Miller's Mustang Barn. When Jack & Claire opened the Museum in 2010, Jack had the world's largest and finest collection of Mustangs....which included Shelbys Mustangs, Roush Mustangs, Ford Mustangs, Saleen Mustangs and some one of a kind custom built Mustangs. In addition to Mustangs, Jack has 6 or 7 very special other cars from the 50's & 60's and all his collection will be offered for sale exclusively onEbaymotors.com. The Museum has existed for a couple of reasons..to house this incredible car collection and to host special events to raise money for some of the Miller's favorite charities....it really has never been open to the general public as Jack has been very protective of his cars....with air-conditioning and humidifiers running 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. All cars have been kept on battery tenders and started up and driven a mile or so once a month with the fluids, fuel, etc. checked & changed on a regular basis. Jack has had a full time staff taking very good care of his collection....and now the public will be offered through Ebay the opportunity to own one or more of Jack's fabulous collection...truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! Jack is the only car collector I am aware of who had the foresight to buy almost every model Ford, Shelby, Saleen & Roush made since 2006 and preserve them in brand new condition in a climatic controlled car Museum. He also sought out and purchased the very best Shelby Mustangs from the 1960's. The Mustang collection encompasses coupes, convertibles and fastbacks. If any one of these incredible cars are kept in their current condition, in 15-20 years their investment value will be nothing short of amazing. Every car in the collection is really incomparable to anything elseyou might find being available for purchase. If you are the individual who demands the very best of the best....you won't be disappointed! Every car is in number one condition. Many of the cars reflect the production number of being the very 1st one built in a limited series or the very last one built in the series. In some cases the museum has the 1st and the last of the series. All of the Saleens were signed by Steve Saleen when he visited the Museum and several of the Roush cars were signed by Jack Roush as were the Shelby cars signed by Carroll Shelby who also visited the museum. Carroll told Jack Miller that the Museum is what he would imagine "Mustang Heaven" to be if one existed. I personally love all ORIGINAL documented low mileage cars and among the collection is a very special 1957 Ford Galaxy 500 Skyliner. It is the lowest documented mileage Ford Galaxy Skyliner Retractable Hardtop/Convertible with an "ACTUAL MILEAGE" title of 9800 miles known to exist anywhere in the world. The Museum removed the original tires from 1957 with 9800 miles and has them stored in large plastic bags....I have driven this car and was blown away how incredible it drives....and everything works to perfection. I have had the great pleasure of driving every car in the museum, albeit it most were just for 1 or 2 miles. Jack was doing his best to cope with his continuing loss of vision as a result of a rare eye disease....even so he could be seen in the Sky box at almost every major auction buying more cars for The Mustang Barn. Two years ago he bought the "Wounded Warriors" Mustang with his final bid of $450,000 going 100% to our heroic wounded warriors. When the "wounded Warriors" Mustang is sold on Ebay, all the proceeds will again be donated to the Wounded Warrior Fund. Jack called me a few weeks ago and let me know thatthe time had come to sell his collection because he could "no longer enjoy any of his cars" He sadly told me, "Marv, I can't see any of the cars...all I can do is feel them and the fun of having these great cars is gone....it's time to let someone who can actually drive and enjoy them....own one or more of them. Jack has decided to sell them all through the Ebay auction process which will make the cars more affordable to own and to save the buyer the large fees that are charged at every collector car auction. The added bonus is any new buyer can have the option of taking delivery of his or hers new purchase at The Mustang Barn.....but this will have to happen within the next few months as the entire building and it's contents, less the cars, have already been sold. The Museum is really worth making a trip to Jupiter to see...Jupiter is a short 20 mile ride on I-95 North of the Palm Beach International Airport. The new owner has graciously given Jack until November 1st, 2015 to remove all of his cars. This collection of cars falls into 3 categories as far as condition is concerned and if it is in this Museum collection every car really is the BEST OF THE BEST! 1.The late model special limited production cars can be honestly described as: BRAND NEW IN SHOWROOM CONDITION! They look new-they smell new-they have VERY low mileage with most less than 100 miles & they are PERFECT! 2. The restored vintage cars are all in Number 1 condition and have had either a Rotisserie Restoration or a Body-Off-The-Frame Restoration. 3.The ORIGINAL vintage cars with documented very low mileage are in our opinion the best known to exist in the world! Any unsold remaining cars will be moved to a warehouse in Jupiter,Florida. onNovember 1st,2015 and will continue to be offered for sale through the auction format on Ebaymotors.com. Facts, Specs, Background and History of the Roush P51ANamed after the World War II fighter (two of which Jack Roush happens to own and fly personally), the 2008 P-51A Mustang was, at the time of its construction, the most potent Mustang Roush had ever produced. With a plan to extract an extra 210 horsepower from the Mustangs 4.6 liter V8, all the internals were upgraded to manage all the boost from the standard Roushcharger supercharger system. The P-51a also included all the body enhancements, handling gear, and braking improvements Roush engineers could dream up, with the result being the fastest, nastiest, most potent street-legal Mustang to ever hit the streets of Livonia, Michigan. This car is Roush P-51A number 1 of only 151 built, and has 310 adult driven careful original miles. Presented in its original Vapor paint job, the effects of Roush’s appearance upgrades are obvious. With an upgraded front fascia, chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear spoiler, as well as a ROUSH black high-flow grill, the P-51a is uniquely Roush. It also features additional cooling side shields that feed cool air to the engine and brakes, rounding out the list of functional improvements that also look great. A black stripe bisects the car, and charcoal gray graphics have been added to the hood, calling out the cars 510 horsepower. This car also features Roush quarter window louvers that visually lower the car and improve interior comfort. As an interesting side note, the yellow and red accent colors on the vehicle come from those used by the 357th Fighters Group, Eighth Air Force ETO (European Theater Operations) who were unofficially known as “The Yoxford Boys” after a village near their base. Its victory totals in air-to-air combat are the most of any P-51 group in the Eighth Air Force and third among all groups fighting in Europe. The 357th flew 313 combat missions between February 11, 1944 and April 25, 1945 and is officially credited by the US Air Force with having destroyed 595.5 German airplanes in the air and 106.5 on the ground. Pilots in this group included Captain Clarence E. “Bud” Anderson who flew a P-51 named “Old Crow.” One of Roush’s personal P-51 fighters is painted as a replica of this airplane, and it is entirely appropriate for their colors to appear on the flanks of this potent pony. The engine, while externally similar to the 4.6 liter V8s living in other Roush Mustangs, was the first to require internal modifications to achieve the horsepower goals set by the Roush engineers and program developers. A new forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam rods, and forged aluminum pistons were specified, which reduce the compression ratio from 9.8:1 to 8.6:1. This is in preparation for even greater levels of boost from the Roushcharger supercharger unit, which also includes a larger water-to-air intercooler and a custom aluminum intake manifold. The engine also received a set of high-flow fuel injectors and a custom fuel rail system to match the increased air flow of the new dual-throat electronically-controlled throttle body. And, of course, it is all calibrated by Roush engineers, who are incidentally the same guys who do most of Fords calibration work. Final horsepower and torque numbers are the same: 510, making it one of the most powerful street-legal Mustangs you can buy anywhere at any price. As with any Mustang from TheMustang Barn, everything remains the way it was when it left the Roush facility. A carbon fiber air intake probably doesn’t remove much weight, but the added airflow is necessary for the big black Roush supercharger living atop the 3-valve V8 engine. All the factory equipment is intact, from the alternator and power steering pump, to the ABS and traction control systems, and this car runs like a new Mustang should. Roush adds his own serial number badges and the technicians who assembled the car sign a plaque that is affixed to the engine bay once the car is complete. In the world of investment-grade automobiles, this kind of pedigree is critical, and the P-51A will surely join the likes of Shelby and Saleen in terms of future collectability.Underneath, you'll find a 5-speed manual transmission and a rugged Ford rear end that can easily withstand the thrust dished out by the new engine. The suspension is Roush’s well-respected Stage 3 setup that includes custom shocks and struts, high-rate springs that also lower the ride height, custom sway bars front and rear, as well as retuned jounce bumpers. The front brakes, which are already pretty stout on a Mustang, are upgraded to 14-inch two-piece rotors clamped by huge 4-piston calipers, which make this car able to withstand track-level abuse, lap after lap. This car also includes the enhanced sound exhaust, one of the few options available on the P-51A Mustang. Wheels are the beautiful, strong, and lightweight Roush chrome alloys wearing 275/40/18 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KD radials.Unlike many tuners, Roush always adds interior upgrades to their vehicles, and the P-51A is top-of-the-line throughout. The first thing you notice is the custom Roush sport seats with suede inserts. Not only are they comfortable, but they're incredibly grippy for when you want to make the most of the upgraded suspension. A custom white-faced electro luminescent gauge cluster takes the place of the stock Mustang pieces, and, of course, Jack Roush’s signature lights up the instant you turn the key. Carbon fiber accents dress up the dash, and a Roush custom short-throw shifter with a black knob ensures you'll never miss the 2-3 shift again. Other details include a custom billet aluminum four-piece pedal kit, P-51A embroidered floor mats, and special doorsill plates. In the trunk you’ll find the optional Roush tool kit, which is a piece of art unto itself take a few minutes to examine the photos and you can’t help but be impressed by the workmanship.Documentation on a car as extraordinary as this is just what you’d expect: both the Ford and Roush window stickers are included, as well as the original owner’s manuals, P-51A brochures, EPA sticker, and quick reference guides. This car really is brand new and it has the NEW CAR SMELL!Pedigrees are nothing new, but the Roush hardware has a relationship with Ford that nobody since Carroll Shelby has enjoyed. With that in mind, the combination of Fords best with Roush’s best has resulted in a car that’s very close to Jack Roush’s heart. The big horsepower is no joke, and this is one of the fastest street-legal Mustangs you can buy today. The suspension out-performs Fords own Shelby GT500, and is more exclusive as well. With what amounts to basically delivery miles and a few test drives up and back on the street in front of the Museum, this P-51A is as-new in every way, and as a result, remains the pinnacle of Mustang collectability. Fast, fun, and a future collectable they don’t get any better than this.
