I am selling a 1999 Honda Odyssey EX minivan that I purchased at a local charity auction. After finding out it will likely need a transmission replacement or rebuild, I've decided not to finish the project (don't have the right place to work on a job this big). The van starts right up and drives, but the transmission slips when changing gears. Backing off of the gas seems to get the transmission to grab the next gear, and I was able to drive it home at highway speeds (approximately 40 miles). Reverse works. Due to the known transmission problem, I do not recommend driving this vehicle without repairs. 227,296 Miles. Positives: Starts easily and runs smooth.
